Even if you base it off only the first two games and completely disregard his excellent performance in the Newcastle match, he'd still win it hands down. Only player who even comes close, you could make the argument, is Michu.

True. We always knew it was going to take time to get these three playing at their collective best, but the very promising start they've made so far in such a short amount of time seems to have raised expectations on them and made people a bit more impatient.

Yeah i'm getting frustrated with a few poor results but really it should be expected. We're totally changing our playing style and have brought numerous new players in. The quick/early success I think made people think we should be winning everything this season.

I don't know, united are just so lucky. I honestly think majority of their team is woeful yet they still win games.

If we get Falcao though and he performs we will be amazing.

If we had RVP we would be clear top. United just have better strikers.

I believe Falcao will perform as long as he doesn't fold like Torres but his high profile switch to Atleti would suggest he is fine with pressure.

By the time a striker could be brought in, it might be too late for it to make a difference anyway. The club have no one but themselves to blame. Shipping out every single striker in this team over the last 11 months and bringing in no one to replace them just to coddle CantScorres and his every sensitivity will end up being the reason we go nowhere this season.

And how do you win games when you're playing badly? By grinding out results.
And what do you need to be able to grind out results? Someone who can score goals and win games on their own even when the team isn't playing particularly well.

And considering our strikers can't even score when the team is at its absolute best, it's no surprise we drop points in the same kind of games City and United are able to eek out the full 3 from.
