Yeah KDB will go on loan, if we get Hulk anyway. I still think he should have No.14 when he gets back, just like we are keeping No.20 warm for josh.

Well if you look at who is rumoured to be leaving/going on loan then our free numbers would be:

11 - Drogba, 13, 14, 15 - Malouda, 17 - Bosingwa, 18 - Lukaku(assuming loan), 19 - Ferreria, 21 - Kalou

Giving us:

11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21

A few things...

1. I don't think they'd give Lukaku's number away, even if he does go out on loan
2. I don't see them giving 11 to anyone in the near future
3. #5 could be available also

Ah yeah didn't think of Essien. Yeah of course I doubt we'd give Drogba's away in a hurry, but it will be essentially "free".

When a player goes out on loan, that does not automatically make his number available. In fact, it doesn't at all. He's still registered with the squad. Mata only got No.10 because Yossi gave it to him, not because Yossi went out on loan.

TBH, I want to see that against QPR, we would absolutely destory them with Both Mata and Hazard making chances left right and center.
