Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
Can someone please prove me wrong and name any CF that they think is better than Godmez....?
Best Target man, also best CF all in all, excluding Mess & Ronaldo

Name of CF that is better than Mario Gomez even with his miss chances.
Eto'o?
You are kidding, right..?
Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
He isn't your poacher only. He is a physical targetman who can dribble/hold up to a certain degree. He wins the ball in midfield and starts attacks Klaas Jan Huntelaar is your pure poacher. Gomez right now is more like Drogba in his prime but with more power and less techniqueGiggslegend wrote:he is a great striker/poacher and always a threat, but I really don´t see him as the best CF at the moment

Thanks-Man
Godmez is not just a Poacher thats what most seems to think,(because they haven't watched him play and they come here trying to educate me on Gomez) some people even think his slow and just wait in the box to finish off crosses and such and such, others even think he can only play as a targetman or poacher because of his size.
Gomez is strong, fast, good finsher, assist and very hardworking, he can also play in the wings. (just saying)

Look at what happened to Rooney when he tried stopping him.
Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
That actually says more about Subotic/Hummels than about Godmezaford92 wrote:Didn't Subotic and Hummels stop him twice last season?
And frankly, the job of a striker is to score goals and with an output of 1 goal every 86 minutes of play time it is IMO ridiculous to NOT rate Gomez.
(I use the 2010/11 stats as the current season isn't really underway yet, but even then you'd have 4 goals in 4 BL matches, which isn't exactly bad either. And don't say K'lautern are rubbish - they were sort of the bestia negra of Bayern so far)

Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
I know the season just started but But Super Mario has score 9 already, another Hattrick today.
7 goals in 5 league matches and 9 goals in 8 appearance.
Mario Gomez is the Real McCoy...?

Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
his first touch and technic aren't bad for his size. It's a myth, he can even dribble people out and doesn't give the ball away easilyIdrisozet wrote:diptiman wrote:Idrisozet wrote:His a Strong pacing and powerful striker that score goals, mixture of Luca Toni, Tevez and Hulk

A player scored 39 goals in 40 appearance last season, and already have 10 goals in 7 appearance this season and you say his stoppable. When last did Juventus had a player that can score so many goals.? Vucinic might probably end up with 10 goals the entire season

Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
You spread rumors which aren't true. For example, 'I overrate Götze'. When? Where? I never ever said anything about him being WC Then you began with Gomez sucks...Surag.Blueguy wrote:Can you pls calm down !No need to discredit an opinion..
Your opinion is exponentially losing its value... You like to transfer bad vibes from one forum to another like a little girl then make up stuff afterwards called rumors or gossip Want to know more? PM me then

Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
So is there a need to bring juve into this ? So typical of some of you here..
Cant believe you project yourselves as mature people and all you guys do is taking a dig at another club..I'm done in this thread..This is my last post..
Gomez is a great striker with a great goalscoring record..Wont go higher than this..

Now don't act like that trying make it look as if we're harsh on you, the word over exaggeration instead of exaggeration shows that you were trolling.
Re: Former Player: Mario Gómez
First, I wasn't talking about Juve and didn't mention them at all. You made up something again :lol!: You read from one section and report to other, whether from Juve or RM or Farca, it doesn't matterSurag.Blueguy wrote:So is there a need to bring juve into this ? So typical of some of you here..

Second, you don't seriously think that Gomez is unstoppable? Ever heard of imaginative speech?
Saying X is as tall as a tree... it doesn't mean X is a tree :lol!:
Oh yeah...
I won't bother you anymore for today
