Man City: They need someone clinical to fit alongside Aguero and if the Navas rumours are true he would compliment dem crosses perfectly.

Atletico: Need a big name to satisfy the striker hungry Atleti fans, shown not scared in past of spending big to get big name CFs and lastly he is a similar player to Falcao so would naturally fit the system Simeone deploys.

Chelsea: Self explanatory

If we don't get Cavani, I think he will be next on the list but hopefully a cash + Torres swap deal will happen for Cavani .

They aren't going to spend big and buy a striker with no resell value. Yes they are losing a big name, but they will try to fill it with either a young player like Damiao or a player already accustom to the league like Negrito.

Arsenal maybe ? We may not be able to match the wages he was being paid at Bayern but we will still pay him well, he will almost certainly start and would finish the few chances that we create these days . The only problem is his that he has been criticized for his link up play .

I know we can't predict the future but what are the chances that in 2yrs Gomez is resold for profit? Gomez just isn't the type of player Atleti would go after.

I dont think Gomez is comparable to Falcao mole, Falcao is alot more involved in link up plays and has an ability to score goals out of nothing..while Gomez is typical stay in the box CF but thats for another debate.


I would take him at Madrid if he can accept a Bench role to Benzema but he is looking for playing time so that rules us out.

ManCity has Dzeko,unless they offload him they arent going to get him.

When i said that i meant he's a poacher with very good movement like Falcao and considering how Atleti play his lack of link up play won't matter too much IMO.

1. He's part Spanish and has mentioned he'd like to play in La Liga one day

2. They are in the CL

3. They pay very well

4. Stop acting like Atletico are Fulham or some shit

Gomez is a donkey. Most overrated player of all time.

Lukaku is already the better player.

Gomez has really no game until you get to the box. That's a massive weakness and will only work with a team that can provide him the service he needs. Bayern was perfect for him because there was no ball for him to play and he hates to have to play the ball much Madrid is an option. PSG is not because Ibra plays not defense and they need a guy who's faster. Perhaps City. I can't think of any other teams that have the right setup for him.

agree that Atletico have been brilliant under Simeone but they're just not good enough for sustained success in the league, I mean let's face it.. can they win the La Liga? obviously not.. even in Real Madrid's one of the worst seasons of recent times, Atletico have finished below them.. players mostly join the club as a stepping stone to bigger clubs. I mean Leo Baptistao is the strongest player they've been linked with so far lol

Same goes for Suarez.. Liverpool has been a stepping stone, he has entered the prime of his career.. why will he join a club of similar stature? because they play in CL is a sick and bullshit reasoning
