The Messiah wrote:Howedes will start, you can come up with any article you like, my only evidence is time and reality.
In few weeks time when Bundesliga resumes Howedes will be starting for Schalke like he always does as long as he's not injured, that is the reality.
I will remind you of this when bundesliga starts
I told Rwo Power i will remind her of this.
Howedes was man of the match against Dortmund, he's Schalke Captain and will always start.
How Many time have I owned so many posters on this forum, I am the Boss here but poster never show no respect.
Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
You probably don't get much respect because you think it is necessary "to own" people and to use an extremely aggressive writing style which "sounds" highly unpleasant.
And by the way, I don't feel owned at all. Why should I? My happiness doesn't depend on being right or feeling superior because one prognosis came true or not.

Well idri doesn't get any respect anyways because of his flip flop stances and his attitude doesn't do him any good either.
Stubsi going to return to the centre now, shame, gonna miss those crosses but Alaba is on fire.

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
So after his great interceptions in the Lille match, do we agree again, that Badstuber is a decent, if not good, defender? :X

No. Only once he has made multiple last ditch tackles on Messi in the CL final.

Decent doesn't cut it at highest level. Conceding goals is more of a problem than scoring them.VivaStPauli wrote:So after his great interceptions in the Lille match, do we agree again, that Badstuber is a decent, if not good, defender? :X

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Considering how Bayern have the best defense in Europe, I laugh when people criticize Badstuber when he's played out of position and call him all sorts of crap.
He's doing decently enough, considering.

That''s the problem, decently is not enough for Bayern.
Badstuber is weak, lets just be realistic, no hate or anything.
Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Unfortunately, Holger Badstuber suffered a rupture of a anterior cruciate ligament in his knee when he got stuck in the grass in the 35th minute of the Bayern - Dortmund match this Saturday. He will have a CT to determine the full extent of his injury on Sunday, but first estimates are that he will be out for at least half a year.

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Oh, bad, bad bad.
I know he hasn't been playing at CB much, but he's one of our best CBs.
This gives time for Boateng to improve himself, but a key defensive loss like this is a massive loss. He's pretty much gone the whole season.

Indeed. From what I gathered, he will undergo surgery on Monday. I hope he will recover ASAP and fully!

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
I do hope he recovers. Bayerns best CB and I really want a German team to win the UCL this year, and I figure you guys are our best bet.
But he's probably out for the season. You guys think Bayern is going to get one more CB in the winter transfer window, or are they going to hope for the best, and play Martinez back there if need be?

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Badstuber cannot be considered Bayern's best CB when there is Dante who is brilliant and near World Class.
Javi will have to be sacrificed for the back if necessary while Gustavo can slot in perfectly in the midfield again. The midfield will be missing Javi's passing and vision added with his defence but Gustavo adds that needed grit.
Plus Javi as a CB is very talented especially if you give him to play an almost Sweeper role in which he did with Atheltic Club to utilize his passing from the back.
Badstuber is a loss, but not as big as its made out to be now.

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
THis year, Holger Badstuber didn't make it into the "kicker Ranking" as CB - but interestingly, kicker put him on 6th rank at "Außenbahn, defensiv" (FB/CB/FB) together with David Alaba.

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Stubsi is working hard on his recovery. Right now he is alone at home in the Säbener Straße and does 4 hours of rehabilitation work every day under the tutelage of physiotherapist Gerry Hoffmann. He is hopeful that he can return to action at the end of this season (but he is sensible and said he'd listen to the doctors and coach and won't rush things ^^).

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Holger Badstuber extended his contract until June 2017. Good for both Bayern and Stubsi!

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Holger Badstuber visited the Bayern team for the training camp at the Gardasee even though he can't train yet (and won't be able to do that for quite a while longer). He expects to recover fully in due time, and he already had some talks with Pep Guardiola, too, where he informed the coach about the progress of he rehabilitation.

Re: #28 - Holger Badstuber
Holger Badstuber recently began with the individual rehabilitation program (he rupture the cruciate ligament in his right knee twice and got surgery four times), but about a week ago he had to stop as he now felt pain in the left knee. To my knowledge, there is currently no further news, but I guess he will be careful not to injure his left knee, too.

Badstuber out again for 3 months
Holger Badstuber has torn a 'muscle tendom' in his upper thigh, needs surgery and will be out for approximately 3 months.
Fantastic.
Good thing we got Benatia, I guess.

Anyway I don't even expect so much from Benatia, all he needs to be is a good backup - obviously I don't think he can better Boateng and Badstuber, that would be too much to ask.
