I dont think that would help, we want to spend but with Wenger's consent. It does not look right when the manager has no saying in who to buy.

We dont have to spend big, if we can spend around 60 million on few players we should be fine.

Podolski- 12 to 15 million.

Hazard- 25-30 million.

Gotez- 25-30 million.

We have 2-3 players who will obviously go out for the season as usual. Their repalcement needs to be better than the likes of Squillaci

If we can get Vertonghen, Hoillet, Matias, Biglia in and then sell the deadwood. That will be an awesome transfer window

Our first X1 without RVP would be relegated this year. Also if the 55mill that was reported earlier is what the transfer kitty will be. We will be in trouble again next year since that is not enough to repair the damage that the club sustained over the last few years.

I'd swap Arteta with Wilshere.

Hoillet, Matias, Biglia are just so unnecessary and they will be deadwood themselves the following summer. Why bring in Matias when we have Campbell? I'd enjoy a better striker to be honest. Wengerism at its best.

Joel Campbell may not get a work permit till next 2 years. We need someone Better than Chamakh, Park and Bendtner.

We can try for Huntelaar but would he leave Schalke ? Don't think so. Can try for Yilmaz but he is in the same bracket as Suarez.

Hoillet isnt unnecessary as he will provide depth. Biglia is miles better than Denilson, and will be great for squad depth too.

I'm not too sure sacking Wenger would help. As long as Arsenal don't removed their debt, they're still going to have the same problems IMO. I don't think that there is tons of money to be spend but Wenger just doesn't want to spend it. He isn't stupid.

To an extent you might be right, but surely you'll agree that Arsenal need to buy a top player or two? Torres was a terrible buy and I had my doubts on it when he came. Imagine where we could have spent that money and we wouldn't be in this situation Laughing

There are at least 10 players that we should get ride of, 4 of these plays should stay.

1-Manuel Almunia

2-Andrei Arshavin

3-Marouane Chamakh

4-Vassiriki Abou Diaby

5-Johan Djourou

6-Chu-Young Park

7-Sebastien Squillaci

9-Theo Walcott- He has till the end of the season to prove himself.

10- Denilson

11- Vela

12- Bentner

13- Ramsey

14- Rosicky

didn't we just sign walcott to an 85k/week extension? If so, I hope other teams think he's good so we can rape them on the price like we did with Nasri.

and if it we were up to me, everyone on the list goes except numbers 13 and 14 and they are squad players. I'd be willing to eat those contracts and terminate them if I couldnt sell them. We cant keep tolerating the mediocrity they provide.

So with 29 votes tallied we have 15 Wengerites (One more year/Never)

8 who want him gone unconditionally (Right Now/End of year, regardless)

and 6 willing to give him the benefit of the doubt (end of season UNLESS top 4)

Looks like very merciful results given the general mood lately.

LOL, I hope not 85k a week? he should be offer 35k a week 40 max. The funny thing is Walcott is worth 2wice as much as Podolski is worth.

The only way Walcott is worth more than Podolski is because of his age and I'd take a middle aged Podolski over our Walcott. He'd still be more clinical.

I'd take an elderly Podolski over a young Walcott. How about that?

I think Arsene should be finished if Arsenal fall out of the top four. I would be more harsh and say, get him the h*** outta here at the end of the season no matter what, but it would take a miracle from sweet baby jesus if Arsenal could stay in the top four. (Or Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle could stay as cursed as we are.)

If Arsene can work that miracle, and Arsenal starts playing better, let him stay. But I don't see that happening.

I'm happy with RVP. Vermaelen, Koscielny, Arteta and Song typically turn in decent performances (last two games excluded). Our goalkeeper usually does a good job. Beyond that... Ox has showed his promise, and Coquelin seems like he could turn out to be a solid player.

It's like beating a dead baby horse or a pack of baby seals, but Arshavin, Walcott and Ramsey are terrible this season. The squid of doom instills fear into the hearts of all Arsenal fans when he takes the field. And recently, we've seen just how poorly Djourou can play.

It's like they all got Spacejammed at the same time... the aliens sucked their soccer skills away and are playing an epic game up at Martian Mountain or whatever that place was called. I never would have guessed Djourou, Ramsey or Walcott could be so bad.

To be fair, the Squid has always played like a squid.

Just shows that the problem isn't lack of skill (although this season it is) but complete lack of balls and winning mentality.

I just don't see the fierceness. I'm encouraged that Vermaelen is a great defender when he makes a great play or gets called for a foul and makes his voice heard. He establishes his dominance. That's half of being a proper defender, your attitude. We've got little to none of that here, our mentality is poor. Half the time Djourou is on the ball lately, his eyebrows look like they're trying to escape his forehead, that's how nervous and jittery he seems.

I am having second thoughts on parting ways with Wenger, I think he is the best option. What guarantee do we have the next one will spend money?

I think he has learned his lesson and he will eat his pride and spend money.

That's what the general consensus is, that he'll get over himself and spend for the sake of the club, but the other side feels that he's had that chance and we'd be taking a risk on him doing that because we'd have to wait until the end of the window to evaluate his decisions and by then he could have killed our chances with a lack of moves or quality moves.
