Re: Game of Thrones
too bad the books take a nosedive after storm of swords... i'm almost in the middle of feast for crows and it's basically the first lord of the rings, a bunch of people trying to get somewhere

You do realize that not every book will be as big of a spectacle as a storm of storms right... GRRM is putting the pieces in place for an epic ending, which is what the 4th and 5th books are.

i wasn't expecting another storm of swords but ffs... if you skipped the entire feast for crows and only read the last chapter for every character you wouldn't lose out on anything...

Wasn't it about the same time last season aired? Spring, around March or so?

Re: Game of Thrones
ye feast of crows is not as good as previous books, but i like to read it from Jamies and Arya's perspectives. I also downloaded a preview for the next book, starts with Tyrion, missed the guy, what a character . I think they shouldn't make a whole season out of that book alone, and combine it I mean who wants to look at Sam and Cersie (except for the lesbian scene)
i think the show will be in april

Man this promo gives me chills
EDIT: Thanks Alfred....you're right the trailer ruins it for people who haven't seen the first season yet

Re: Game of Thrones
Epic times to come
Also I kinda felt like that trailer ruins it for the people who haven't yet watched season 1.

Think that was the Gatekeeper's Castle...the one that wants to one of his daughters to marry the new Lord Stark in exchange for passage into King's Landing.
As for the promo...decidedly meh due to the fact that it didn't really show any new scenes other than the last few seconds. Was more a recap of Season 1 than a preview of Season 2. Should've been labelled as such.
Still quite eagerly anticipating this new season though.

Re: Game of Thrones
Guys, I think that this might be the best thing I ever watched.
I've seen way too much movies and quite a lot of tv shows, but nothing came so close to hardcore and manly as this beauty.
Most of the good ideas get ruined by money-oriented producers and companies, so that the rating has to be PG-3, but this show just blew my mind. It was absolutely "Balls! In your face whimps.", lol.
What is also amzing is that I've finished watching the 1st season like 4 months ago, but the euphoria... No, it's not euphoria what is left. Euphoria comes and goes, now there is only knowledge left. Knowledge that this show has been made like it was meant to be made, knowledge that this is, with no biass, the most logical - and therefore the most true and ballsiest show I've ever seen.
Therefore -
ALL HAIL THIS GUY
