Keita holds importance in our team, specially from the physical aspect of the game, it is not sympathy nor man crush that kept him high in Pep's eyes. Unless Keita wants out, I don't see him going anywhere. I also personally don't see any relationship between Affelay and Keita.

True, affelay is played on the wings, not the cm/dm role.

Reckon Keita might go. His talking about whether he should leave Barca though that was just a rumour!

They might as well buy him back. No offence tho I have a footy fetish for Dutchmen at Barca but... w/ Alexis & now Cuenca I don't see any way back into the squad minus an injury to someone else cause were not selling any forwards now.

Tbf on Affelay he has been blighted with injurys at Barca, everytime he gets a run in the side he gets an injury.....

I feel really sorry for him, as he has the talent but injuries have ruined any chance of him succeeding.......

I also truly believe Madrid would have knocked Barca out if Affelay didnt produce the moment of brilliance to put Barca 1-0 up in Bernabeu.

There wasn't much choice in the game against L'Hospitalet due to the South American & Spanish Youth Internationals that were being called up. No big deal though we have sharks to fry nvm sardines. Class prevails most of the time that is.

1- Tello is gd, i don't think he will make it at Barca, but he is really gd.. anyway, what should a 20 year old player do at his debut, dribble 10 players and score a goal? lol he was fine.. Did u watch Cuenca vs Granada? he was meh.. but than vs Viktoria & Mallorca he was of the best players in teh match..
So don't judge on one match.. Plus, Tello may not make it at Barca but he is gd enough to make it in teams likes of Valencia/Atletico etc ..

Afellay is better than Cuenca, no question. I would much rather have Ibi in the squad.

No I don't think it was silly. What was needed was a player who would selflessly work off the ball to create space for Messi and also link up with him in the best possible way but at the same time the player needed to be top class in terms of fitting into the pass and move style, having decent technical ability and a good goal scorer as well. Villa fitted the bill well. Winning almost everything in 2010-11 kind of proves that. However there are a few problems that we should not ignore.
