Godze- Don't kid yourself. No *bleep* way. Dortmund will not sell him to us a fortnight before they play us. Whaaa!?!? (But I'd still squirm to see him and Wilshere in our midfield. Thats orgasmic!) Cash plus Bendtner sounds too good to happen really. It'd've to be 20-25mil + Bendtner to do this.

Santos - Don't know much but I'd take ANY LB over Traore atm.

Also, I think wenger wont sign a CB now, he has 3 very good CBs and will promote miguel. I think he wanted on before just in case gibbs gets hurt and vermaelen has to play LB, but now we got santos and gibbs, so we dont and wont have to worry abput vermaelen going to LB. But maybe im wrong and he signs cahill. But all im asking now is for an AM, like someone that is very good and can be world class for us.

We still need a CB cause I don't want to see Squillacci playing again. Djourou is bad enough right now. I think Miquel and Koscielny are both underrated. We need a CB to rotate with Koscielny and TV. Miquel and Djorou for cup games and meaningless CL games (assuming we get into a situation where we see that).

I agree but wenger will probably say that once Djorou gets form, and miguel gets playing ime, we got 4 good CBs. It is true, but I doubt there durability so I want another CB.

Djourou hasn't been the same since that shoulder injury he had when he collided with Sagna (might be mixing up here, my mind is drowsy).

10 goals in 52 games for Fenerbahce probably sums him up. He's an offensive player with very good technical ability, as you'd might expect of a Brazillian international.

His atttack tendencies does mean that he isn't too good defensively. Apparently he can be quite suspect.

In other words, he's a typical Brazillian full back. Being 28 means he has a lot of experience and he's won things like the Confederations Cup.

There are a few rumours flying about that we're going to be breaking our transfer record before Wednesday. Of course, with deadline day rapidly approaching, there's going to be all sorts of stuff being said; most of it untrue.

Santos isn't great defensively but going forward he is way ahead of the likes of Clichy and Gibbs.

Being 28 it means Gibbs is still long-term LB, if he can get and stay fit.

What I can see however, is we are moving from a pretty tippy tappy football to much more fast attacking football. Too early to say its the Arsenal of a decade back, but if we go back to 4-4-2, bring in these players we've been linked with, get a good playmaker, get our squad fit and stop picking up suspensions, then I'd give us a good chance this season to challenge for something, like a top 4 finish. Lots of work to be done, I see.

Finlay some good news, after that embarrassment, I bet the owners were embarrassed so they have no choice but to spend.

The best thing about buying players now is they can practice for around 10 days so they can get ready for the next Match.

Negotiations seem to magically speed up on deadline day. Things get done by fax as opposed to arranged meetings between two parties.

I'm actually expecting us to sign two more players. Santos and Park will both be announced tomorrow, with any luck. Then one centre back and one central midfielder should be up next.

Park, Santos, Cahill...plus a midfield signing.

Definitely a better squad.
