i think it's too late for us to get either of hazard or gotze. i dont think we'll be in the market with as much vigor and spending power as we had this summer, and it's VERY likely we wont be in the top4 so we'll be facing the prospect of being a less attractive destination. also bear in mind the other 'big' clubs that regular splash cash on players will want to get in on the sweepstakes as well.


but of course we have to let everything play out. just seems to me that the opportunity was THIS window because of those above factors. hope im wrong though

Unfortunately, With this window for us was either in the first few weeks. Before all the talk of selling Cesc and Nasari started. Or after we moved on in the CL which was really to late.
