Lansbury is still on break because he went to the U21 tournament this summer.

Re: Loan Watch Thread
I think it's easier having two threads; one for loanees, one for reserve and youth games. This thread did get pretty big last year.
Though if we don't send out as many players on loan, maybe they could be merged. We did have 17 kids out on loan, after all. I'm not expecting as many to be sent out for next season.
Off the top of my head: Wellington, Galindo, Miyaichi, Botelho (all work permit related), Miquel, Aneke, Henderson, Ozyakup, Afobe and Freeman. Possibly Bartley and Vela as well and one of Frimpong or Coquelin.
We have too many kids.
I'll be doing the loan reports again, in any case. I'm going to try and follow everykid we send out, instead of just the select through I did last season.

I did say I would try and follow every loanee. May as well do Denílson as well.
So far Denílson, Wellington and Pedro Botelho have both gone on loan to Sao Paulo, Levante and Rayo respectively. Expecting Galindo to go on loan to a Spanish club and Miyaichi to go on loan somewhere as well.

Re: Loan Watch Thread
It just so happens that Rayo and Levante are both in La Liga next season, so it'll be much easier to follow Botelho.
Following Denílson may be difficult, though, since I can't watch watch Brazillian football outside of live streams.

Guys excuse my ignorance but what ever happened to Nacer barazite? Is he still with us? I remember Van Persie saying that the boy had mad skills.

Left us last season. He went on loan to Vitesse in the Netherlands before being sold to Austria Wein in Austria (never would have guessed ) for about £1,000,000 (or something similar to that). Apparently he's doing quite well over there.
He was actually quite closer to breaking through into the first team squad but unfortunately suffered quite a bad injury that kept him out for about year. That, and apparently his work ethic didn't quite much his outstanding skill.

Sao Paulo 2-2 Atletico Goianiense
Saturday, July 23
Denilson made his debut for Sao Paulo on Saturday as the Arsenal midfielder's new side drew 2-2 with Atletico Goianiense. The 23-year-old joined the Brazilian outfit last week and went straight into the starting line-up for the Serie A game at Estadio Cicero Pompeu de Toledo. He started the game and completed 67 minutes before being replaced with Sao Paulo leading 2-1. Denilson is on loan at Sao Paulo until the end of the season.

Re: Loan Watch Thread
It'll probably take a bit of time for Denílson to adapt to the Brazillian league and he's lacking fitness. Maybe we'll see a more expansive game from him the more he plays.
James Shea has joined League 2 side Dagenham and Redbridge on loan. Think he'll be number one there. Not quite sure, though.
So far, the loanees are:
James Shea - Dagenham & Redbridge
Pedro Botelho - Rayo Vallecano
Denílson - Sao Paulo
Wellington Silva - Levante

Re: Loan Watch Thread
Denilson was sent off in injury time after seeing Sao Paulo to a 4-3 win over Coritiba on Wednesday night. In the second game of his loan spell, the Brazilian midfielder helped Adilson Batista’s side race into a 4-0 lead within an hour. But three goals in the final half-hour saw Coritiba pull to within one goal of the visitors. Denilson was given his marching orders in the closing moments as Sao Paulo moved to second in Serie A.
