Thought we should have a separate thread where we can discuss players progress that we have out on loan given that they might return at the end of the season (either permanently or will be sold).

Cristian Tello (at Fiorentina until 30 June 2017)
Douglas (at Sporting de Gijón until 30 June 2017)
Munir (at Valencia until 30 June 2017)

Alen Halilović  (Sold to Hamburg, then loaned to Las Palmas with a buy back option)
Gerard Deulofeu (Sold to Evertonm then loaned to AC Milan with a buy back option)
Adama Traoré (Sold to Middlesbrough with a buy back option)

Adama scored today in his debut vs Notts County, then got injured. This is Sherwoods opinion on the injury and the goal

Good thing we set a buyout on Adama. He's a beast.

Pretty sure Alen Halilović is the only one on a straight loan.

Montoya, Tello, and Suarez were loaned out with option to purchase, so there's a good chance all 3 of them will be purchased as soon as there loan spell ends this summer as oppose to returning.

I'm pretty sure Denis is on straight 2 year loan but you're probably right about Monty and Tello.

tbf I'd welcome Tello back- he's better than Munir or Sandro, decent option off bench

I don't think he'll ever make it at Barca unless he learns to add more variaty to his game than running to the byline and putting in crosses Jesus Navas style and attempting 200 dribbles a game but that aside it would be cool if he made it.

Denis Suárez' move to Villareal became official earlier today. Barça get a 3M buy-back clause in 2016, 6M in 2017.

On topic, Halilovic had a good 30 minute cameo. Kept things simple and displayed some wonderful footwork.

IIRC Sevilla had him for this season on loan, so they should be compensated if the loan is ended prematurely. Hence the negotiations. But I'm not 100% on the details, only going from what I've read here.
