on a slightly related news... Having obtained the Spanish citizenship, Wellington Silva is now (AND FINALLY) eligible to play for Arsenal. We will now get to see what all the fuss was about!.

Probably doesn't have a future with us, but he is supposed to be really skill full. Will be nice to see him in an Arsenal shirt before he leaves

Most likely true.
Wenger must rate him highly given that he is still around. Hopefully he will do a "coquelin" and get some kind of bumper deal. I wonder how long his contract was.

Should be near at the end. However the thing is, he is going to compete with Sanchez, Walcott, oxlade, Gnabry, Welbeck, Cazorla and even Ramsey.

He has no place in the squad unfortunately. Can see him and Ryo moving on.

But like I said, I hope he plays in the pre season and at worst, goes on loan to a PL club instead of just leaving straight up. Who knows, if walcott ends up leaving there might be space in the squad for him.

Wenger will probably give him a go in pre-season and if anything, his British visa just drives up his value so that he can play elsewhere if we sell him or so we have the option to keep him.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Still laugh at that rofl

£10m will be nice tbh. Villarreal are a broke club so probably won't pay much. We can try sell him elsewhere but depends where Joel wants to go.

Maybe a cheeky £5m + first refusal on Vietto and 1-2 youth players :coffee:

Anjl will be devastated if Joel is sold without featuring much Sad

Joel's a good kid, I hope he gets a chance to show us if he can step up in preseason. Too many people ahead of him, but he definitely has more of a chance than Coquelin had earlier.

I rate Gnabry highly too - but we have seen more of Gnabry than we have of Joel. So it is not a one-to-one comparison imho hmm

Jon Toral has been loaned out to Birmingham. Feels like a "shop window" loan where he'll be hoping to impress other Championship clubs.

Dan Crowley supposedly set to go on loan as well, since he's been linked with a couple of Championship clubs.

Isaac Hayden could be joining Hull on loan (they just sold James Chester) according to the Guardian.

Our loanees at the moment:

Wojciech Szczesny - Roma
Carl Jenkinson - West Ham
Jon Toral - Birmingham
Ainsley Maitland-Niles - Ipswich
Yaya Sanogo - Ajax

I suspect Emi Martinez, Serge Gnabry, Alex Iwobi and even Chuba Akpom could be loaned out at some point, too.

Crowley seems too young for a loan tbh. But I guess it won't hurt him

Good luck to Hayden, I hope they play him in midfield where he is at his best.

Chuffed about Crowley too.
