El Arsenal no ha aceptado oficialmente la oferta del Barça. Cesc sigue en Londres a la espera
If my Spanish serves me well, this translates to:
Arsenal haven't accepted the official offer from Barca. Cesc is still in London waiting. (or something like that)
Don't know what is happening.

Wenger knew all this from the start of the season and took his sweet time with it, I blame him for not dealing with right away and just before the first game of the season 4 players might leave.
How can we deal with this, this is bullshit.
it not his fault that cesc and Nasri want to leave but all this nonsense should have been dealt with earlier

Eboue hasn't got a number.
Hmm...
I really don't want Eboue to leave. This is too much now Cesc, clichy,Eboue,Bendtner and maybe Nasri.
5 Players and 4 starters are not going to end well for us.
I remember guys crying here to replace the entire squad..
I dont think there is a need to worry.. We will miss Cesc.. We expected it to happen.. And Gervinho replaces a Nasri.. I am happy that we have a versatile player probably with more quality and definitely dedicated to play in Arsenal..
And are we sad about Bendtner? No..
About Clichy.. But i feel we have seen the best of him and some1 else will do better...
& i never wanted Eboue to leave.. But it was not because of his game.. its just because i liked his team spirit and his celebrations.. Pretty dedicated too...
Losing 5 players may unsettle a team for a while.. But we look more strong except for the departure of Cesc..

Have no fear, McCourt is here! The Derry Pele indeed, Arsenal should buy him as a replacement for Nasri so he can take the hand out of the whole EPL

Who was crying for half of our starting line up to leave, lol. The only player that I wanted to be gone was Denilson and ALmunia.
Really I dont care anymore who leaves Arsenal.

eboue is moving for game time..... he won't get much thisyear... it's pretty certain with pre season that jenkinson is back up RB....and we have enough wingers that we don't need to put eboue there.....with the addition of AoC, Ryo and Gervinho

Re: The 2011 Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
It's really poor from the club to let this all happen just a day before the season starts.
Newcastle game tomorrow and:
1. Still no new centre back
2. Cesc on the way out but taking ages to do so
3. Nasri situation unresolved
4. Selling a perfectly good backup right back in Eboue
5. Deadwood like Almunia still here
6. Bendtner; is he staying or going?
All should have been done months ago.

Exactly Jay, how did one of the smartest mangers allow this to happen?

And why would Fab take #1? I think Szczesny deserves it more than him and according to goal.com he will be #1. Here is the full story:Spider wrote:Wojciech has taken the #13 so if Almunia Lift then Fabianski should wear the # 1

Yeah, Puyol is the only Barca player who's word I trust.imalegend wrote:
looks like a done deal.... first time i have seen Puyol say anything
It's really pathetic on part of the board and Wenger. I'm very pissed off right now: these deals should have been done starting the season, not ending it.
It's going to be a very exciting 2 weeks.

Yeah... you guys had a small window in early june to sell cesc, buy benzema and then get Nasri extended. But of course, the club failed.

Tbh, I'd rather have these guys off the boat now, than keep them aboard a whole season more and go through the same process all over again.
Not our fault it took so long, Barca are broke beggars who took unreasonably long to gather enough money to make their bids. Even now, we might be accepting their pathetic bid only to get rid of them and their classless bunch of big-mouthed players. Their attitude has been despicable and we are doing good to be rid of them, even if by flogging our captain off for a smaller fee than what he should command. Then again, he hasn't behaved like a captain to demand that fee, he has shown how weak he can be.
I'm not one to crib over this anymore. Time to look forward to where we head to from this point.

Its too late now, we have to move on, we have a great young team, and I look forward seeing them make us proud.

Update: Another update on the Cesc Fabregas situation and Sky Sports sources understand Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has told the Arsenal midfielder to stay in England until after Sunday's Spanish Super Cup encounter against Real Madrid.

Re: The 2011 Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I agree completely, but if we knew they were gonna leave, being 2 starters and 1 key player, the idea is to sell them ASAP so the team can have as much time as possible to adjust with life without them. I mean Cesc was the captain of the team. It would also have gave us much more than than the measly 2 weeks we have to find replacements. AND more time for the replacements to adapt.srigooner wrote:Tbh, I'd rather have these guys off the boat now, than keep them aboard a whole season more and go through the same process all over again.
