No he's not. Kakuta is on the verge of anonymity if he doesn't get it together.

how is Vion like sportsczy ?

Vion is far away from anywhere... good talent, no playing time. He's not even a regular with Porto B lol. He needs to go somewhere else. The France NT U20 manager has used him on several occasions and he's looked good.

Shows how few talented CFs are in France right now that they're forced to have Vion and Bahebeck on the team lol. They've both done nothing this year.

The thing with France NTs is that they're looking not to destabilize each other. For example, Benzia and Rabiot should be in U20 based on playing level, but they're in U19 to keep that team competitive. Same with Kondogbia and Pogba being on the U20 teams as opposed to the senior team going to Brazil in a couple of weeks... Personally, i think Thauvin and Digne should be on the senior team too since they've been incredible this year.

Aurier has apparently decided to go with Cote d'Ivoire over France. Frankly, i saw it coming. For some reason, he was no longer getting called at all with the youth NTs and it must have been this.

France has plenty of fullback prospects however. With Digne, Umtiti, Corchia and Haidara, we should be fine. You have kids like Sabaly in the younger levels too.

I still can't understand how Grenier didn't make the team but Gourcuff did... it's unbelievable. I harped on this since the team was announced and will do so until Grenier is picked lol.

Tremoulinas, the Bordeaux LB, replaces an injured Clichy. Very similar players.

Tremoulinas is better defensively. Not a bad replacement.

Digne should have been called up tbh

Digne Thuavin, Pogba, Kondogbia, etc. are all going to U20 WC in Turkey this summer. DD said he won't take any of the players that are young enough to go there.

A very good era is approaching for France NT imo. Consider this.Players age 25 and younger:

Defenders: Corchia, Digne, Umtiti, Varane, Mangala, Sakho, Isimat-Mirin, Zouma

Midfielders: Pogba, Kondogbia, Grenier, Guilavogui, Gonalons, Capoue, Rabiot, Cabella, Nasri

Forwards: Benzema, Griezmann, Thauvin, Alessandrini, Benzia, Martial, Lacazette

You also have Koscielny (27), Ben Arfa (26) and Menez (26).

Probably team v Uruguay according to L'Equipe based on training sessions:

Mandanda - Sagna, Koscielny, Mangala, Trémoulinas - Capoue, Matuidi - Payet, Valbuena, Gourcuff - Giroud.

6 non-starter... although Capoue is important as Matuidi, Cabaye and Pogba are all suspended for the next WC qualifying game. Need him to step up.

As usual with all our friendlies, we lose in the 2nd half It was a b team though and then the b- team... so no worries

Payet, Valbuena, Grenier, Sagna and Koscielny were very good
Gourcuff, Giroud and Termoulinas were very bad
Mangala was good, but showed lack of experience on the goal. Mandanda was at fault too because his placement was bad.
Meh games by Capoue and Matuidi

Really, it came down to not finishing chances and Giroud being utterly horrible. Did nothing.

Against Brazil, we will see this team i think:

That's who i'd play it.

Grenier is going to be a stud btw. You can just see him oozing class out there.

Varane-Koscileny started the last two WCQ and has become the preferred duo easily.

Moved to a 4411. Problem is that we've always had injuries/suspensions this year so it has happened only in a game and a half lol. Also, with U20 WC, Pogba, Kondogbia, Thauvin and Digne were left off these friendlies so that they compete in that.

Honestly, we haven't played the same starting XI twice in a row for a while now.

Griezmann's NT suspension ends in November and i expect him to get a look too.

I'm pretty sure that's what you want Sports rather than what you changed to.

I haven't been following your friendlies but in your last qualifier when Pogba and Cabaye both managed to get themselves suspended you played....


I have seen no suggestion that you will suddenly play Benzema and Giroud together.

cabaye is not in the starting eleven Maul. Valbuena is more valuable to the team at the moment
