We have a RB problem. Sagna is injured and Debuchy just got injured. That leaves Jallet... and that's about it unless you want to call up a kid like Aurier or Corchia.

We may be forced to play either Koscielny or Varane as a RB against Spain as Jallet would get absolutely molested.

Mbiwa has played RB before and quite well actually.

Think its best Koscielny and Varane are kept to the middle.

He's been great this year. Tough as nails and always plays well. I like this choice a lot.... once we have a few friendlies, we can start experimenting with Corchia. Now is not the time. Needed a defensive RB to go with Jallet.

Varane just had surgery. Yanga-Mbiwa has been meh all season (sorry Mole). Mexes questioned DD publicly (idiot). In the end, Rami is only there as the 4th CB... he's gone once Varane is healthy.

You also have the U20 WC that DD said he respects. Zouma, Laporte, Umtiti, Digne, Pogba, Kondogbia, Thauvin etc. were not considered because of that WC. Btw, what a France NT that's going to be lol.

Frankly, if you were going to pick a CM/AM from Lyon, it would be Grenier by a mile over Gourcuff... in an otherwise shat second half of the season for Lyon, Grenier has been one of the very few shining lights. He just needs to hit the gym lol.

Menez out... and freakin Lacazette called up lol. This is the kid that's been benched by Benzia. Understand that Thauvin is going to U20 WC and Griezmann is still under suspension. But Lacazette?! Grenier deserves it 100000x more than him.

I've never seen Benzia play but everything ive heard about him has been good, do you think he could be the real deal sports?

Benzia is the #1 best CF prospect in France right now by a mile imo. He's a beast unless Lyon frak up and play him on the wing like they did with Lacazette, who was also a top CF prospect.

I know hes still developing as a player, but to which top player would you liken him to?

He's like Aguero but with much fancier dribbling. He has 42 goals in 46 games with Lyon B team lol.
