Wouldn't surprise me to see him in a faux fullback role in the near future

Mudryk appears to be 4x the player, at first glance anyway. Antony wasnt even impressive at Ajax, his fidget spinner highlights were more amusing rather than out standing

You do realize he was city’s best goal scorer last season

He frustrates me as well, but he’s criminally underrated in general. Most won’t even bother acknowledging when he’s killing it for city. He’s been the architect behind cities resurgence. Besides him and Haaland, the team looks woefully out of form offensively, especially Bernardo Silva and Kevin de bruyne. Grealish has been so-so. Not playing bad, but puts a huge goal burden on haaland and mahrez

I wonder if that's due to Rico Lewis become a starter. He's way more comfortable in central spaces and moves more than Walker, which gets Mahrez more involved in the game.

I think pep is giving him more freedom. Rightfully so. You can see him taking spaces up where he usually isn’t. He’s also simply improved his decision making. Less selfishness too. More confidence and experience.

Between him and Sancho we have almost 200 mil spent on proper duds. What should be both valued at honestly? Sancho 50 mil and Antony 30 mil?
Jesus Christ. And yet fans scratch their heads and blame the board for not buying reinforcements now. They simply dont have money lol. Hence looking in the flea market for stop gap jobbers like Weghorst. To top it off Sancho is on like 350k a week. drunken And that when he was signed during a window when we actually had CL football to offer for a change. Laughing Anyway wouldnt surprise me if both get displaced by Garnacho and Amad next season and binned off quickly. Antony especially is not even I think better than Daniel James.

Pep alluded to him needing to rediscover his love for the game at the start of the season. I assume that's the main issue behind his poor form up until recently. I think him being selfish is fine when he's playing well.

If there's anyone I don't blame for being out of form, it's Bernardo Silva. He was in Ji Sung Park mode when most of his team mates were putting in less than half the work. He's the epitome of positive work rate. The only player who wanted to leave in the transfer window, and yet the player who looks like he wants to stay the most.

You’re right on Bernardo Silva thimmy. It’s clearly a mental issue for him. He’d like to leave if he could but he was asked to stay. Pretty hard to have that grit and passion for a team you’ve wanted to leave. I think it has to do with the weather or something, forgot the reason. And he’s roommates with cancelo who is rightfully warming the bench. Lol. That’s definitely not helping I’m sure

He's one year older than me, and a lot of people seem to think I'm 20-23. I feel like most people in their 20s mistake the 30s for the 40s and 50s Razz

He wasn't asked to stay. He only wants to join one of the bigs in La Liga, two years ago Atleti were interested in him, and City were even allowing him to leave for 50m, but Atleti had to get Saul off the books,  but they couldn't get him off, so the deal didn't go through. In the summer we were interested in him, but had to offload de Jong first, which we didn't so that deal couldn't go through. When his price was 50m some reports say Milan tried to get him, but he declined them, same with this summer apperently PSG came in late window, but he didn't want to leave that late into the window, since he knew it would cause problems for City and as he's mentioned he has a great relationship with everyone there. Apperently GMbappe wants PSG to go for him again this summer, so maybe he might move this time, perhaps La Liga ain't written for him.

No matter how I felt about the issues in Qatar, I just couldn't stop myself from following the story building up till the victory of Messi and Argentina.
Not only with goal legacy, there are some other club forums also where people discussed how their enthusiasm for this season has gone down.

Not at all. Both Ramos and Casemiro were known for scoring important goal yes but Casemiro was more known for his defensive solidity that nobody bar RM fans even rated funnily enough. Now that he is showcasing his qualify in that poverty league is he finally gaining recognition. I find it amusing.

He was called steady Eddie, a body to make up the numbers in midfield and a master of the dark arts etc. Bet if Ramos went there they'd call him the best CB in history Laughing

Not just Madrid, every fan base. Agreed re Ramos except for about 3 years total. Casemiro was a legit good DM. Not as great as Madrid fans made him out to be…. But very good.
