Bentancur has been bad this season but tonight. He won his midfield battle with Atalanta.

The problem in the mid were Rabiot, McKennie, and Cuadrado. Cuadrado is excused because he has been great in every match, but the other two have to do better.

I knew as soon as Arthur got injured that it would be a battle. Rabiot has the technique but is too lazy, McKennie has the energy but lacks the technique.

Even then we would have won this game if Ronaldo and Morata didn't synchronize to have unusual bad matches. The team had otherwise done enough if we had the usual level of finishing. Pirlo should have brought on Dybala and Kulu or Ramsey earlier.

Abject stuff so far from Milan, who are missing Theo in the left as well. Tonali is OK, but he is not a full replacement for Bennancer, who is tremendous in both phases of play.

We need to increase the intensity. Also, it is telling that despite not playing to his current standards, Calabria is our best player tonight.

Tense match in Naples with little chances despite Napoli's slight control. They were unlucky with an injury to Mertens (what is going to be the effect of that?), and that lost them some wind. They can't wait for Osmehan to come back.

pioli had better option from get go like diaz for RW and he didnt go for it ; at times he overthinks and trying to over elaborate things..

this is like catch up just like verona and parma

those three rebic, leao, castillejo has been horrendous! one if not all 3 should just be changed asap, pioli keeps on leaving late. in fact he didnt even swap position between leao and rebic as rebic lieks LW position

McKennie is not limited technically, only Benta and Arthur are the better midfielders in that aspect. What he needs to do is to calm down and be patient with the ball. Against Barca, he picked up the ball near our box but then fucked the counter up because he tried a long ball when a) he still had room to run and b) the defenders were running back, which is why Ronaldo and Morata had stopped their runs. He did something similar today, too: he received the ball with the back at the goal and then tried to put Morata through while he was still mid-pirouette. Like, calm down, you're not Zidane and the defender was not close enough to bother you

Bentancur was fine for the position he plays. He's not an assist man, but he was very good defensively and he protected the ball.
