McKennie is not limited technically, only Benta and Arthur are the better midfielders in that aspect. What he needs to do is to calm down and be patient with the ball. Against Barca, he picked up the ball near our box but then fucked the counter up because he tried a long ball when a) he still had room to run and b) the defenders were running back, which is why Ronaldo and Morata had stopped their runs. He did something similar today, too: he received the ball with the back at the goal and then tried to put Morata through while he was still mid-pirouette. Like, calm down, you're not Zidane and the defender was not close enough to bother you

Bentancur was fine for the position he plays. He's not an assist man, but he was very good defensively and he protected the ball.

Inter gets a stupid penalty against Napoli, and Insigne gets a straight red out of thin air. The penalty shouldn't have been given because the Inter player was offside.

Also, we are losing. What is this shit. Worst case scenario for us (WTF was that red for Insigne, Italian refs are scum sometimes). We also just wasted a golden chance.

We were lucky with Juve's draw, and in theory, should have expected a draw between Inter and Napoli. I don't understand how we didn't start this match just dominating Genoa from the onset.

Napoli outplayed Inter and lost because of a faulty penalty and stupid red card for Insigne.

We need Ibra back ASAP.

We aren't title contenders period.

We cannot let a stroke of brilliant form have us hope for such a title. Call it a loser mentality but #1 we are not in control of the game so I see it how it is.

But our opposition is the only reason I feel we can win given Inter are LOL this season and Juve in the process of a restart; Napoli not having enough depth.

But terrible match by us.

Inter is a point behind us now. A team being primed and has no Europe AT ALL (lol Inter) so going to need ES to summon his greatest spirit bomb RJ when the time is right should we lose more points.

When they will lose a match (and it has not happened since March) I will change idea on them.

i think our team with this mentality is exactly why its regressing as rival teams and media is putting too much praise.
time to revert status quo to the mentality we were in since Genoa loss in March or recall Atalanta loss - its not a distant memory and campaign is still long ahead

we have heavily lost good haul of points. granted we have lot of first team players 5 of them out but no excuses, pioli has been playing wrong players in wrong position or even starting them to begin with ; yesterday's game was low we have seen this campaign and this has beeen repeating too long, starting on back foot

-Romagnoli is delivering fraudsterclass performances since his return, whoever maybe his partner, regardless our true defence is Kjaer
-We are a Kessie-injury away from imploding
-Dalot is a garbage fullback, guy looks like a CB, doesnt even advance past the half way line, tired of these old age fullbacks
-Leao needs to be offloaded, even during his good streak, most of his assists were blind luck, his work ethic is horrendous and his ball management is clunky to say the least, sell him for 40m to Leonardo or whoever, he has his fans and his price is up. I'm sure there's a PL midtable team (Not United) who's willing to pick him up for that amount.

I just hope we can close out this first half, we are not a Scudetto competing team regardless of the streak. We sorely lack depth and its starting to show, Inter on the other hand is stacked, quality all around, they will definitely have a say. We desperately need reinforcements in January, otherwise its game over

How much money can we afford to spend? We need a backup CB (hell with the way Romagnoli is playing maybe a starter) and backup ST desperately...I mentioned in the rumours thread we should pounce on Papu. Torreira too if he leaves Atletico and Arsenal still want to get rid of him.

Madrid rejects do well for us, try to get Jovic on loan imo.
