Re: Arsenal Lobby
We've never been a team that had a lot of English players in England but at least Walcott, Wilshere and Welbeck were regular during their time with us
Now....
Now....

Arsenal have plenty in the youth teams, though. Up there with United, Chelsea and City, who have monopolised most of the best English youth in the last decade.
Won't be long until at least one of them is in the senior squad, imo.

Well it's more about the connection you feel with England when you have your own club's players. I mean i still love England even without any Arsenal players but when you have one of your own score on an international level for your country it's a great feeling
The Walcott hattrick against Croatia remains one of the greatest moments as an England fan because of that. It wouldn't be if someone like SWP had done that.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Doesn't help that Arsenal only ever produce mids and forwards. If they could pump out a keeper or a defender they'd be in the England squad in no time.
You've got Nketiah who looks ready but the problem he has is Tammy Abraham scoring for fun in the PL and basically becoming second choice to Kane already. Then you've got Saka who looks really bright but he's behind Sancho. Willock could step-up but then there's Mount and Maddison... and that's before you even get to Phil Foden ffs.
I guess the only short term hope is Holding. If he puts together a good run of form, he could get in easily ahead of Keane.

It's been too long, my friends.
I'm at a point in my personal life where I'm learning to end relationships and experiences that give me bad vibes, bro.
Actually came back here to convert you all to be golf fans, it's been very relaxing for me. You'll all be just in time for the PGA Tour in 2 days if you start now. (had to google "upcoming golf tournaments" for this joke).
So are we all in agreement that we need to sack

It's so bad I've convinced myself an ex-Spurs manager would be a great appointment.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
I would assume this is more of a joke about the idea of hiring an ex-Spurs manager, but Poch would be an incredible appointment
I hope he goes to you guys. I want Tottenham punished as much as possible.

Tongue firmly in cheek. Pochettino is twice the coach Emery is and I'd take him right away.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
In any case, Spurs are in trouble and now have a worse manager than the one they had before, a ticking time bomb no less.
It's good news for Arsenal.

Remember our Gervinho
He's 32 and doing prime Ronaldo9 weekly. We should also scout Kulusevski, he will be a star soon.
