The Swedish trilogy is really good. Wasn't too impressed by Fincher's remake.

Get on a full Fincher marathon and rewatch even the ones you've seen.

Freeza what was it again you said about Mysterious Skin?
Jesus, I was uneasy from start to finish. So disturbing, but well directed film at the same time. What an incredible performance from Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Can't remember. But I remember feeling as sick as a movie has ever made me feel.

8.4/10
Ha no idea this was such an awesome movie
I really like Michael Cera. Wish he'd do more movies.

Michael Cera is a scrub imo, Pilgrim was ok
got his role in hollywood replaced by that other lad who is a slightly better actor than him - one from Zombieland and Social Network + Adventureland, he's also like 30 now so he can't play the socially awkward teen like he did in the past

Re: The Movie House - Part 8
Michael Cera is typecast. I'm sure if he gets cast in proper roles he can showcase some range.
Plus I enjoy the role they typecast him in. He's really good at playing the socially awkward teen (Superbad, Scott Pilgrim, Arrested Development, Youth in Revolt, Juno)

@ES
Thoughts on Andrew Lincoln as Roland in a future Dark Tower movie. Since these are different dimensions, they could totally do that and it wouldn't even be weird .

Meh, I've never cared for Michael Cera. He's good at the socially awkward teen but something about his performances just...eh. I don't know what it is about him, I've just never liked him. I'm not really convinced he has much range either. Jesse Eisenberg is much better tbh and I'm not even much of an Eisenberg fan (absolutely fantastic in The Social Network though--he was born for that role).

Re: The Movie House - Part 8
I hate Jesse Eisenberg. His acting is so bland. Unlike Cera (who is typecast and actually has some range to his acting and needs to be given better roles), Eisenberg only knows one way to act.
Doesn't help that he has annoying voice and face.

Re: The Movie House - Part 8
we're exactly opposite on this
I don't like Cera, find he's one dimensional, has an annoying face and voice. You don't like Eisenberg, think he's one dimensional, has an annoying voice and face.
I'll take this draw

Nah, I saw it on reddit. Can't believe I never thought of him as Roland, but this latest episode of TWD brought that to the fore.

Re: The Movie House - Part 8
Cera is okay.
Prefer Eisenberg though. His quirkiness and talking style can be off-putting if in the wrong movie, but he is a good actor and put in some great perfomances in The Social Network, The Double and The End of the Tour.

He was pretty meh. Played that typical meh Woody Allen character. Not a woody fan though
Kristen Stewart is a star though. And Blake Lively is a goddess
