Re: The Bundesliga Thread
BTW assist Shirley for Aubameyang, told you guys Schürrle was a good transfer. Bit expensive, maybe, but Tuchel knows how to work the kid.

Dembele just left 2 Mainz defender on their asses
But needs to improve on his crossing or start cutting inside more.

It's great that Branimir Hrgota finally gets game time now that he went to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Don't know what i find more surprising, RWO being interested in Swedish players or Omar Mascarell playing for Frankfurt (when the hell did that happen??)

Branimir Hrgota had the problem that he couldn't get past the other attackers at Gladbach. He wasn't really bad, but Schubert considered the others better.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Gladbach FTW!
@halamadrid2
Well, no hype necessary - as I said, he didn't get past the other Gladbach attackers. But I think with continous game time he will be a very useful player for Frankfurt.

I honestly never thought to look at the options. Why would a standard feature be turned off by default?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Banners by the Hoffenheim fans at the "El Plastico", TSG Hoffenheim vs RB Leipzig:
The banners say:
- "We want back onto the throne - Germany's most hated club TSG 18.99€ Hoppenheim"
- "Not everybody can be a proper commerce club - sh*t RBL"
- "Football is destroyed only by one club - Hoffe and no one else"
- "Instead of sh*t soda we have to diss ourselves"
- "Greetings to the 4 Sky viewers"
- "Give us back our hate!"
- "Kohlenelf (Money-11 - a pun on "Fohlenelf", BMG) vs Red Asses"
- "Only Sandhausen still hates us as before"
Kudos to the Hoffenheim supporters for their self-irony

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I watched the "el plastico" (on tv) and found it very entertaining. It may not be for everyone, but i like how Hoff attack with 10 players ( or sometimes leave Sule back) and dont really care about the consequences, the way football should be played! Lawn Bowling Leipzig did their part as well. Not sure if either team will stay up, but based upon how Werder played, they wont be last.
I wont get into just how bad the Bremen game was vs the pig Farmers. The only good thing I can take from that game, is that Lewandowski is on my kicker fantasy team.

Yeah, the Bremen match was an utter disgrace.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
WK 2 of the Bundesliga and after the International break we have learned that Dortmund's young players are great. Wiegl carried Germany to a victory over Norway, Pulisic was great for USA and led them to an easy victory (he really did) and Dembele lead France to a hard fought 0-0 draw with White Russia. Also all the teams are settled now, well, at least until January, transfer madness is over. Unlike the modern Football fan, I actually like to watch good football and dont really care about transfers. Ok, I know the big one, Nicky Bendtner going to Forest, but I dont care about the rest of these wild transfers.
By the way, did anyone notice how I got every single prediction right last time?
Schalke v Bayern
Bayern are playing again on a Friday. many people dont know this, Bayern are a Jewish team and do not play on the Sabbath, hence, all these friday games. Normally, after an international break, it is a good idea to pick the underdog because the "big " team will have tired players. From what I saw, the German and Spanish players will not be tired. I just hope Schalke put up more of a fight than Werder did last week.
0-2
Bayer 04 v HSV
I picked Bayer in the last man standing thing, oddly the week before I picked HSV. I dont understand my infatuation with HSV? I do have a sister that lives in Hamburg, that I dont really talk to, maybe it is some weird guilt thing?
3-1
VW vs Koln
OK, I lied, I do know some other transfers. Wolfsburg got Wollsheid and the Original Super Mario. Or no, the original Super Mario is Basler, or maybe it was Kempes or Zagallo? Anyhow, super Mario means tons of goals.
4-2
Ingolstadt v Hertha
Nobody cares about this game, except for a couple of guys who drive Audis in Berlin.
1-1
Darmstadt vs Frankfurt
Nobody cares about this game except for some Bankers in Frankfurt. I think this is called the Deutsche Bank derby or something like that? Is this recognized as a Derby? I really dont know. Meier to score.
0-1
Freiburg v gladbach
Lets call this the Young Foals derby, I think both teams have young squads. I assume gladbach had a lot more players on international duty, so this is probably a good time to pick Freiburg to upset.
1-0
Lawn Bowling Leipzig v Dortmund
Out of protest, Dortmund fans are not traveling to Leipzig, Or maybe they just dont like East Germans? I understand that.
1-1
Werder v Augsburg
If Bremen dont win this, I am jumping on the Dortmund bandwagon. It is not totally a bandwagon thing. I have been a bit of a Dortmund fan since they were wearing those neon, yellow, green, glow in the dark kits of the 90's, I still have one, which I use as a night light in my basement.
2-1
Mainz v Hoffenhiem
For some reason I like Hoff, I like them more now, after their el plastico derby
1-1
