Bundesliga wk 1
I wont go so far as some and tell you the results of the final table, but I will tell you what will happen in week one...
Bayern vs Werder 5-0
Usually if you are going to pick an upset, the first game of the season is a good time to do it. I will predict it will be a looong season for Bremen. Probably fighting relegation again
Eintracht vs Schalke 1-2
I dont follow a lot of the off season transfers, but tend to go by history and past seasons. I think Schalke have a lot of good young players. Eintracht has an old guy named Mensch Meier.
Augsburg vs Wolfsburg 0-0
I am no longer surprised that Augsburg managed to sty up every season.
HSV vs Ingolstadt 2-0
I cant recall if Ingolstadt or Darmstadt were the team that did it with defence last season? As much as I would like to see HSV go down and as inept as they were at scoring, I think they will be comfortable this season.
Koln vs Darmstadt 1-1
I get my "stadts" confused.
Dortmund vs Mainz 2-0
A reunion game or whatever you want to call it.
BMG vs Bayer 2-0
I dont think the Pretenders (Bayer) will be very good this season.
Hetha vs Freiburg 1-1
A city like Berlin really should have a better team. I am not one of those Football Manager playing people who worship Football Managers, but I do like Christian Streich.
Hoff vs Leipzig 2-2
I wont get into all the reasons why Germans hate these teams, cus I dont hate them, even if one is East German. I actually like hoffenheim and like their wild, abandon defending style.
There is a gneral rule I broke here. That is you should always pick promoted teams to win on the first game of the season

@elfmeter
Good prediction! We can keep it in the Bundesliga general thread, though.
BTW, Eintracht Frankfurt have Branimir Hrgota now. To say it with Lucien Favre: "Vergessen Sie Hrgota nicht!" (Don't forget Hrgota!)

Yep. I think they make it out of the group stages at least, hence more of a focus on Europe = dropping BuLi points.

One of my bold predictions of the season is Bayer Leverkusen finishing 2nd over Dortmund.

I knew RWO would eventually merge the threads. Stop being so possessive about Bundesliga rwo.

You certainly don't know all the work rwo did on this forum apart from anything related to Bundesliga. Because if you had known, you wouldn't have said something like that.

Philipp Lahm scoring a goal against your team should be contractually established grounds for dismissal of any manager.

Ah, that Bremen side with Klose, Mertesacker, Naldo, Weiss and Oezil.
