Watched Swingers. Top class dramedy. Vince Vaughn was so GOAT in it. Jon Favreau and Ron Livingston were amazing too. Some parts really got some big laughs out of me. This is in my top dramedies now.

70mm is basically HD Cinema.

It's been superceded by digital IMAX though.

For those of you who are in the US, CISA has been enacted. Look it up and read about it.

Unless you have a VPN I'd be a lot more careful with torrenting.

Theaters able to project 70mm film. No theaters in Denmark uses that because it's too expensive for the theater to use it. They're already suffering, which is probably why they want TFA to show over Hateful Eight.

Everything is digital basically now, but Tarantino keeps trying to stop it, instead of accepting the change and help improving it.

And his movies don't suffer at all from being shown digitally.
lol wut there's a cinema (Imperial) in copenhagen that got 70mm

Interstellar was the first movie to be shown in 70mm in Denmark since Titanic in 1998.

I'm gonna watch Hateful eight on that cinema for the 70mm.

Normally I watch movies on the cinema which also got IMAX.

Same LeVer, booked tix for Hateful 8 @ Leicester Odeon (since its 70mm), it'll be my first time watching a movie in 70mm.

Hopefully it'll be worth it for Odeon's 90° chairs (:

ES I haven't booked yet since I haven't talked with the LADS yet. We'll probably watch it on the weekend or something.

The movie on that cinema is getting released on the 4th january. 3 days before it gets released everywhere else lmao

Also i've read that it's better to be close to the screen for a better experience cause of resulotion or something

To non Star Wars fans and Star Wars haters I recommend to watch The Force Awakens. Easily one of the best movie of the years and there is no cringe dialogue or outdated shit. JJ Abrams whipped up a pretty great movie.

May the Force be with you Molenation

FFS. I am sorely tempted too.

1080p of Sicario and other movies like The Walk and Everest is also out. And screeners of Carol, Brooklyn, Spotlight etc.

*bleep* it. Don't do it.

Hateful Eight is not something I wanna watch at home.

The Revenant and The Hateful Eight are something I've been waiting for for too long and it's only another few weeks.

I'll watch Spotlight though Proud

Yeah, can't wait bounce

Personally can't give such a movie disrespect by downloading a screener, with shakey cams and 20mins of blacked out footage because the steward just entered the theater

a screener is an official copy given for award consideration not something filmed on an iphone u pos

quality for the hateful 8 doesn't seem all that good tbh, revenant looks alright though

will watch both over the next couple of days with no regrets Proud

also got sicario which looks decent

That's how they're meant to be watched.

Also who are saying this is his best film? Highly doubt it, won't set my expectations that high. Same people who has only seen Django?

my personal ranking of Tarantino directed movies that I've seen would be

Pulp
Inglorious
Resevoir Dogs
Jackie Brown
Django
Kill Bill seres (I need to watch it again tbh, don't remember it very well)

I seem to be in the minority that didn't rate Django all that highly (compared to his other stuff, still loved the film)

@M99 I always knew TFA was going to be good. Just not as hyped as most people. Will probably wait for the bluray to come out (: I promise though I'll watch it. Even if it takes me RG time
