We haven't heard from you guys in a while.

What does the future hold for GL? Are there any plans to shake things up or is this it, the forum stays the same and lasts until it lasts?

I think we had a decent season of activity and we have Euros to keep us afloat until next season. But I hope we see some things happen in the meantime. There were some good suggestions like someone proposed to ditch the club sections for league sections instead. I just hope to see some life from our leaders.

We need RG out of hibernation, at least McLewis and BC are still pretty active.

What more can be done tbh, i'm actually amazed that Forumotion still exists and RG still pays for the server

What about the Discord ? I never log in but i always see 4-5 persons online

Tried the discord server but just didn't have the feeling that I'm on GL.

I love this place honestly I hope it keeps going.

I honestly love Vibes love for the forum for I love it the same but there is a lack of incentive of the forum is just coming to a slow even if collaborative death.

And McLewis is still here and often you Serb

Ideally if you do care to this extent marketing it elsewhere would help.

World is now mobile, and I've been using GL on mobile since forever. I can always drop in. But desktop users..

Haven't even turned on the desktop in months.

I use the desktop site on safari 80% of the time

Not convenient but i got used to zoom in/zoom out

zooming in on mobile is a crazy hassle

My laptop is for dust collections.

Sometimes, when I'm inspired I write songs on it. That's about it

I'm thinking about writing a novel though.

I use my phone sometimes to access GL but its a pain in the ass long-term. I usually carry my macbook with me anyway so no need for that

Several times i posted on GL and reading you guys on my phone while waiting for my truck to be unloaded in remote regions

If you look up Chapais QC on google maps you'll understand i was in the middle of nowhere

just google earth'd it, looks even smaller than my small sandy hometown i grew up in... you must love the existential ponderings along those long open roads though?
do you run into a lot of road kill? do you have deer or those huge moose over there?

Actually there's something unexplainably charming about remote areas like these, its like you're in another world. Damn that sounded like I'm some kind of transcendentalist

Existential ponderings and music is how i pass the time then when i stop i check GL

Thankfully i come back home almost every day, i could not live in my truck 5 days a week like my uncle does. We have log books that prevent us from working more than 16 hours a day, when i go that far i have to cheat it tbh.

And yeah lots of road kills in Canada mostly deers and small animals such as groundhogs or skunks, never saw a moose on the road thankfully. Crazy things happen sometimes but not every day, not even every week. Still saw my fair share of tragic accidents be it live or the aftermath, once helped a young lady whose car flipped over in a snowstorm. Some would say i saved her life she was caught in a ditch that could only be seen from truck POV and snow was already covering the car

My hometown is boring, there is nothing standout about it, but the most interesting place I lived in was Gdańsk, lived there for 5 years before I moved back due to family reasons

Nice town, not too urbanized and you got the sea nearby

yea typical European style architecture...
would like to at least visit one European country once just to get the "feel" of the place... my younger sister once went to Germany (Berlin, i think) on student exchange for a week or two, she loved it, especially the free-spirited nature of the people.
