So, did we sign that morning player and striker or is it a trial or something?

I'm so confused about this don't-sign-under-18-year-old-players-from-abroad thing. On one hand Barcelona got a 12 month transfer ban for it, on the other hand all clubs seem to still be doing it.

Work permit issues affects these type transfers unless these guys have been studying in the UK right?

Wasn't the actual rule something like top 25 World ranking or 75% of last years NT's games to obtain a work permit for a foreigner outside the European Union.

funny how that works. we have thousands of Africans in this country that have no work permits and don't even work. they live in free houses and claim dole money. but football players that come here and work pay plenty in tax have to have a permit. scratch

That's signing for senior players. You have to be good or proven enough to get a work permit. When signing under 18-yo's, it is something like it's permitted only if their family was naturally moving to that country or something like that. But it should be forbidden if you just poach under 18's from their home country for the sake of football.

I disagree, They should develop this area and incorporate proper education also in this so that the kid has enough options if his dream career goes down south.

Its a dream for these kids to go abroad to play the sport that they love at such a young age.

The rule, I believe, has to do with their parents. You can't have them come over alone without their parents having work in the country, or something like that. IIRC.

Latest reports say we are in for Adama Traore, Its too good to be true. I dont see him joining us.

But there no place for this guy, Ibe's the winger to go forward with imo

I have seem him exactly twice ! I liked him and later realised that he is also little hyped !
It would be an awesome young talent to sign, but as Nish said I highly doubt whether he would come to us !

Adama Traore would be a weird signing. He's not going to play for the first team, and we already have a bunch of wingers with immense upside to accommodate.

He is a great talent and could be a great asset. Starting or not, he deserves opportunity to blossom and prove himself.
