On Coquelin: he showed flashes of quality but don't forget that we were dominated almost every game that he started at CM. I doubt he will stay here.

I think he (Gnabry) would. Ben Arfa, one of his chief competitors, came back to pre-season out of shape and if he plays like he did when he got some appearances for us last season, I don't see why he wouldn't get a fair chance there. Plus, he needs to be able to get games for a decent side in order to prove he is good enough to play games for us in the future. Good loan move IMO.

Nah, he is pretty good in the air despite his height. Although it remains to see if he can adapt fast enough or not in the PL. Fabianski was of similar height and it took him like 4 years to adjust till he finally became a beast in 2013 and then obviously left.

I think Ospina might actually be a starter.

Ospina, Casillas, Navas, Valdes are all 6' or 6'1" ... by no means tall for a GK, but still taller than most outfield footballers ... it's not like we're talking about Jorge Campos here.

I still maintain that Phil Jones has the skillset to one day be a very good CB, that's what i saw at Blackburn and what i still see.

He's been f*cked around in various different positions that he's never been able to lockdown a position.

Then again it could be the case as like a lot of things me being deceived by youth, but i do believe that.

I agree ... nobody would say he's been a star from his performances the last few seasons or anything but I still think he could develop into a very solid player. Still only 22.
