Watched It too and was suprised alot of people brought their dates to this movie, IMO this is no way a date movie, unless you want a date like Rosemary

Pike killed it with her psycho acting

Affleck was amazing too, his performance in my view was perfect, he never upstaged Pike like many big actors would do, and you always knew who the lead was

And movie had a lot of comedic parts for the type of movie it is, and most of the comedic parts were amazing

Though The Amazing Spider-Man 3 no longer has a release date, there's still clearly a lot going on behind-the-scenes at Sony Pictures when it comes to this character. The ever reliable Badass Digest.confirm that they too have heard about plans to possibly incorporate Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (if you missed that story yesterday) but that is actually one of THREE different ideas curently being passed around.

The site claims to have been told that, "Sony is going to soft reboot Spider-Man with The Sinister Six, having a new actor playing a Spidey who works with the villains The Dirty Dozen style to take down a larger threat." This actually sounds similar to the Ultimate Six story arc from a few years back and would make sense, though recasting Andrew Garfield when he still has another picture left on his contract doesn't. The other plan? "To put Spider-Man on the shelf for four or five years and see if they can develop any of the side characters into their own franchises." This one seems more likely in some ways, especially as Sinister Six has taken the release date previously held by The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and a female-led spin-off is also in the works.

The site adds that they're not sure whether all or any of these will come to pass, but changes are definitely in store. Oh, and one more thing for you to mull over; Venom is said to be "functionally dead again," giving everyone who said "It'll never get made!" something to boast about.

Give back or share a 400m$ guaranteed profit, no matter how awful a movie is? Highly doubt it, would be insanely stupid of Sony. Disney probably need to bid like 3b$ or something to get the rights back.

Hope they do bid. They can afford it and will make the money back in 10 years.

The spiderman universe is so big that they can make 10 movies from it without even thinking much. Sony will keep ruining it. Eventhough I liked TAS2(90% didn't), there is no point rebooting it AGAIN with a different peter parker.

Need Nolan to rescue Spiderman as he rescued Batman imo hmm

Sony won't give it back but they might let Marvel use it in their cinematic universe. Sony the company isn't in the best shape atm and their Sony division might be their best asset atm, the more they can make with that the better

Dinsey/Marvel have no reason to buy Spidy back, they are making billions off the characters they have atm and they have a arsenal of then still avaliable, Dr Strange, Black Panhter, Ms Marvel etc

No other reason than Spider-Man being the third biggest superhero brand behind Superman and Batman. I'm also pretty sure that Disney wants all their properties in the Marvel division back, just like they bought back The Punisher. It all depends on Sony's financial situation and if they want to sell. Disney would probably buy it for a reasonable price, it they can get it.

And also Mel Gibson is rumoured to be demanded as director for IM4, would make estatic. Mel Gibson is an amazing Director. Apocalypto is probably my favourite non English language film.

Don't want another Hulk, Iron Man or Thor movie tbh. I'd like some of the lesser known properties that I don't know much about. Would love Black Panther also (probably going to be announced soon). Would also love a really good Punisher film.

Hulk only has had 1 film unlike Thor, IM and CA. Both World War Hulk and Planet Hulk are fantastic stories to make movies for.

Agreed about Black Panther though. They should have released it before Age Of Ultron though since His best arc fits well with Vision and Ultron.

But no complaints if they make a movie later on. No idea how people will react to him since he is not known.

All non comic book fans I know, says Guardians is better than anything Marvel has ever made. So I guess they have to make it unique and of course, great.
There has been 2 hulk movies, both were kind of meh. Can't bare to see another standalone. Maybe a film where other heroes are present would do. Hulk and Banner as shown so far is sooooo boring, they'll have to improve the character.

Marvel said they did not do a Hulk movie in Phase 2 because they wanted him to be the special attraction to Avengers 2. Iron Man was in Iron Man 3, Captain America and Black Widow was in The Winter Soldier, Thor was in The Dark World while Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Vision are new characters. I get their point but I really hope they do a solo Hulk movie for Phase 3.

I think entertainment wise GOTG was the best movie they made along with Avengers. But CA2 was better for me personally.

Also just watched Let's Be Cops today, had to watch a movie in the cinema on my birthday. Was hilarious, just the right amount of ridiculous humour for my adolescent mind. Awful storytelling though, but who'd expect anything else from that movie. It did what it wanted to do, and it was hilarious throughout.
3.5/5 just to give it a rating hmm
