Just to think of it. The WB executive pulling the strings have really gone all in. The loss if he folds this hand could end up being worse than half the movies flopping. Now they need to stick to this plan. And I hope they do.

I hope Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn will happen, she's the absolute perfect look for that role.

Also the whole fanboy thing of DC and Marvel confuse me, because if anything, competition increases quality, so fans of both companies should only cheer for each other.

Gosling is apparently out. But Will Smith, Hardy and Robbie are really close to signing according to new reports today. Really hope this is true, Will Smith needs a new action hit imo. Can't explain how much I miss prime Will Smith.

The Purge: Anarchy

Meh..

Decent plot but lacked suspence. I didn't at one time feel any of the victims were in any danger. It wasn't believable, and was rather predictable.

Greater competition does NOT always equate to greater quality though, to be honest. Their comics certainly haven't increased in overall quality in recent years despite more direct and intense competition between Marvel and DC.

It's Carrie Kelley from Frank Miller's Dark Knight. So it's not really that surprising. Just don't like a 29 year old actress in the role (Jena Malone). I think it'd just be as Carrie and not as Robin then.

Also.. Ezra Miller kind of looks like the perfect joker, too bad he's way too young. He's good the acting chops and the look.

Scoot McNairy's role in Batman v. Superman. What do you think he's playing? Jimmy Olsen? Green Lantern?

One of my favourite actors out there, and way too good not to have a legit role imo.

They are following The Dark Knight returns storyline with the older batman so I have no idea how they are going to make a 29 year old look like a 13 year old.

Not sure who McNairy would be.

Could've done so much more with that idea, but they butchered the ending imo. It felt forced. Meh.

Saw Gone Girl on a date this weekend and I honestly enjoyed it quite a bit.

Rosamund Pike indeed has a good shot at an Oscar with a performance like that.

A farcry from the listless, boring Bond girl I knew her principally as.

Agreed. I did not rate Pike as an actress because of Die Another Day, which imo is the worst Bond film of all time. Bah gawd she proved me wrong. Should get an Oscar or I'll riot.

I think we can all agree that she deserves to collect an Oscar for that. Which is what I was hoping the consensus would be after you guys watched the movie.
