Not sure what the purpose of having Alba on the pitch is. 1- He looks super panicked when attacked and has always been caught in no man's land when defending. 2- Has provided zero going forward too. The former is certainly a technical deficiency of this player but the latter can be attributed to Barcelona's tactics (and also City's).

btw, there is no special tactics for this lineup. there was only one motto - fit Cesc...Xavi, iniesta, busq could not be replaced....so iniesta playing wing....

Messi needs to press consistently otherwise with Alexis pressing the CB, the LB is usually caught unmarked. Potentially dangerous.

Barça need to move the ball quicker because you can see City panicking when you give the game some pace.

But I think you need a CF. City's centre backs are far too comfortable right now, with Demichelis completely free to press Messi all the way to the halfway line because he's safe to do so as the gaps left behind him won't be exploited. You need someone hustling their centre backs.
