I prefer balance over individual skill though..
I too like Alves but if a offer like 30-40m+ came around which probably wont it would be kinda dumb not to sell, unlike Madrid / City we do not have infinite money.

I also aint sure simply buying a "Abidal style rightback" will solve the fullback issues. Dani Alves in his prime (and still can now) defend, regardless of what Abidal did. Alba cant defend...having the fullback on the other side being great defensively wont save him. No question I agree 100% we would have superior balance though.

I meant Abidal style fullback regardless if we sell Alves or not. If we do sell, he should fit in Alves' place, if not he should replace Alba. This is of course all theoretical with a lots of if-s.

In midfield and attack, I also do. Not defence though.

We wont get that kind of offer btw, thats a dream. He is too old now.

Dani Alves is a physical freak of nature, he looks nearly as good now as he did in 08-09. You can never tell, but he easily still has a couple more years in him...and then possibly a couple more years after that. He could be the next Zanetti for all we know.

I'm looking for at least 30m euros before I even think about it. 35m euros before I start to realistically think about it. Hard for me to put a price on Alves.

i would rather get his service few more years than offloading him before age to complete a good business. You cant do business with ever player, can you? I think Alves is of that kind for me.
