Coentrao would be a great signing for Spurs tbf.

Apparently AVB wants a CB, LB, Winger and Striker with the Bale money.

Addresses pretty much all the weak points.

Yes and Giroud is a very good striker. The only aspect that affects him is Arsenal. Arsenal needs to change a lot of things if they want to get things done better. In my opinion, they should start with the coach.

The problem with Coentrao is that RM overpaid for him and now they are going to want just as much in re-sale. Don't get me wrong, Coentrao has the potential to be world class (see his performances for Portugal in the last WC). Although I think he will do really well at whichever club he goes to, RM are probably not going to get their money back after wasting his talent - like so many other former RM legends who have gone on to be top players at other clubs.

no doubt we overpaid for him(mourinho :brickwall:

) but just like Higuain perez won't let him be sold for less than what he values him. if he stays it will be good so we aren't exactly desperate to sell him and he gets 2 mill in wages so he is not too bad on that front either. Perez will wait until a team gets desperate for him and sell him then. We still have until the end of august to sell him Laughing

Coentrao actually did fine at Real Madrid, especially last season he was impressive.

Marcelo is more popular and which is why he's kept over Coentrao, who's better defensively than Marcelo.

Agree with Dani. Eriksen was used as a false 9 against city and in a few eredivisie games.
