Re: FC Barcelona vs AC Milan Second Leg
Kassai is a decent ref so I don't think we'll see any corner kick penalties (Hope I didn't just jinx the guy lol)
As for the game itself well how successful Barca's season is depends on this game. They have the tools to score 2 or 3 goals but I doubt they have the tools to concede none, we'll just have to wait and see.
I do think that Barca's players don't really think they can do it. They will try for sure but this Barca team has already seen itself in this situation many times before and it's failed to overturn the deficit. That's got to be on the minds of Barca's players and I don't think they are convinced they can do it.

Well going by some players' interviews ,they appear confident anyway like Iniesta and Alba who are '100% sure' they will knock Milan out.

Putting on a brave face. I see it more as them trying to convince themselves that they can do it.
Should be a great game either way. Milan have a tough time ahead of them but really if they repeat their San Siro performance than they will go through. Barca won't change anything in terms of how they play.

Pazzini will not be called up for the match against Barça, according to Sky

Big loss for Milan. Pazzini was definitely a good outlet for long balls in the first game (considering his strength in aerial duels)

There are talks of Niang being the replacement for Pazzini. Bojan might be brought on as a sub

Niang will give Barca problems. He's exactly the type of player they don't like to deal with.

I sincerely hope so, an 18 year old leading the frontline against the best team in the world... Hopefully the pressure doesn't get to him

Its Boateng I wish missed the game. I have seen enough, he is one of those players who really give us trouble.
Some time ago we did starting 11 based on performances vs Barcelona...Boateng for me has forged his way on it. He's annoyingly good vs us.

Morata/Varane did a great job for us. No reason why Niang can't if he is talented enough.
Although leading the line isn't easy, you need a striker willing to sacrifice his performance for the team in order to really hurt Barca. Someone who will keep the CBs busy in aerial duels and making dummy runs to stretch the defence. It's the wide players who usually get the most joy in these types of games, the guy in the middle is the one giving setting the stage.
Looking at Boateng to have a great game though. He's the one who will probably have to carry the most responsibility.

I've been trying to figure out why that is exactly. I mean Boateng is a good player but he doesn't have qualities that other good players don't and they haven't been as successful as he has been.
Could just be a mentality thing, Boateng has always struck me as someone with a chip on his shoulder.

Re: FC Barcelona vs AC Milan Second Leg
Meh, this game is done and dusted.
Rossell came out saying, us going out of the CL is not gonna stop the world. I think we're are prepared to go out (the team and coaching stuff). However the players will want to put on a good performance and go out with honour at least.
TBH, I'd rather go out to Milan for example, than get knocked the fuq out by say , Madrid or Bayern, in the later stages of he CL. An early exit may also bring forth the major changes we need, especially at the back.
Winning Laliga is still a great achievement for us despite how some here may like to put it. If we do go on to win laliga , its certainly an improvement from last when we only won a copa.

Boateng feeds on the energy of big crowds, is cocky, definitely wont say no to a shot at goal even from a weird position. Mixing these things together can make him a big game player, but since he is so emotional, he can get carried away sometimes.

Re: FC Barcelona vs AC Milan Second Leg
Is just me, or Boateng would have been a better fit in Barca than Cesc ? He's the kind of player they lack IMO.
ON: I have a feeling that Barca won't win tomorrow. About Niang, either he will play great, or he will fall under pressure and play very bad. They could try Robinho instead...

If we play three forwards up front we will score goals. If we play Fab/Thiago in midfield then we not.
Our defense probably won't cope and concede a goal...

I pretty much agree with this, he has that edge about his game and isnt afraid. Barcelona are or at least were the masters of defeating you with fear, Boateng genuinely isnt afraid to play his game.

Robinho? I'd rather start Mexes as a CF. Robinho wouldn't be able finish chances or hold up the ball if his life depended on him. Its either Niang or Bojan for tomorrow

Really have no idea how to approach this game but I'm sure Milan are just going to park it.
3-4-3 with three forwards (not Iniesta on one wing) could the job. Tbh, I don't want Fab to start but I can't help but feel both Villa and him will start together given they both came off (assuming for rest of course). If Fab plays, play him in the role that he succeeds the most and thats in that number 10 position. Question is that whether our backs and Busi can hold us.
