---------------Valdes----------------
----Puyol-----Pique---Mascherano--
----------------Busi------------------
---------Xavi-------------Iniesta-----
---------------Fabregas-------------
----Pedro-------Messi--------Vila---
Really have no idea how to approach this game but I'm sure Milan are just going to park it.
3-4-3 with three forwards (not Iniesta on one wing) could the job. Tbh, I don't want Fab to start but I can't help but feel both Villa and him will start together given they both came off (assuming for rest of course). If Fab plays, play him in the role that he succeeds the most and thats in that number 10 position. Question is that whether our backs and Busi can hold us.

Too many midfielders could mean Barca being passive again.
Maybe Tello should start instead of Fabregas.

There is hardly any width in that formation.

There’s no doubt in my mind that we’ll win.
As there’s no doubt that Milan will go through

I've been trying to figure out why that is exactly. I mean Boateng is a good player but he doesn't have qualities that other good players don't and they haven't been as successful as he has been.
Could just be a mentality thing, Boateng has always struck me as someone with a chip on his shoulder.
Boateng feeds on the energy of big crowds, is cocky, definitely wont say no to a shot at goal even from a weird position. Mixing these things together can make him a big game player, but since he is so emotional, he can get carried away sometimes.
I pretty much agree with this, he has that edge about his game and isnt afraid. Barcelona are or at least were the masters of defeating you with fear, Boateng genuinely isnt afraid to play his game.
Boateng has the Kavorka.
Jokes aside, Boateng does have something Italians call "grinta". It means grit, or determination. And this trait is very highly prized by Italians.
See this ad for an example, where they create the perfect player from Pirlo, Sneijder and the "grinta di Boateng".

As long as we have two forwards and our defense is organised, we will be fine.
Valdes, Pique, Alba, Busquests, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro were all rested for the Milan game. Messi and Alves are almost guaranteed starts. The question is whether we start Villa or Cesc. Given that both were taken off means that either could start. Puyol and Mascherano to fight the centre back issue but I'm pretty sure Puyol will start.

So long Cesc doesnt start and / Iniesta on the wing, I 'm okay with any result tomorrow (even a loss).
As much as I want us to progress, the truth is we haven't been good enough for CL football this season, especially at the back.
I truly believe such an early KO is the only way Rossell and co would be pressured enough to buy proper players/CBs this summer.

Dude Cesc will 100% start. He's the first name on the team sheet.

Pazzini has been excluded from the squad with a micro-fracture to the fibula, however both Mexes and Ambrosini have travelled to Barcelona and are expected to start.

Ambro needs to have a great game if Milan want to do well. His pressing in the first leg took a lot of pressure off the back line.

"One, two, three, to the quarters!" ran the headline in sports daily El Mundo Deportivo, predicting that "after three weeks of waiting, the hour of the great comeback has arrived".

They are a very complicated rival, but we have the Camp Nou on our side and one of the best FC Barcelona teams in club history - Pique

Barca are about to put on a football show dismantling Milan like they did Arsenal few years back in the camp nou. Sorry to say, but at least with Barca going through, the last 8 will be fantastic all around.

I don't think anybody will be shocked to see Barca come back, but I'm expecting another Muntari masterclass

What's the over/under for a Milan player getting a red card?

Anyone catch Pique's "This is Sparta!!!" speech?
EDIT: Pique's rally cry
Some good material there if Barca don't make it

I think there is a good 70% chance that a Milan player will get a red card.
