Milan to show the world how inferior they are to barcelona

It won't be easy because Milan will park an airplane and italian defences are always hard.

I prefered any other team to Milan, but still it should be doable.

Its getting boring Milan vs Barcelona, and the Arsenal fans thought we had bad luck.

Its about time Milan beat Barcelona.

Yesterday's mock draw from Uefa threw up some intriguing encounters, including Real Madrid v Manchester United an AC Milan v Barcelona:

Valencia v PSG
Real Madrid v Manchester United
AC Milan v Barcelona
Shakhtar Donetsk v Borussia Dortmund
Arsenal v Bayern Munich
Porto v Malaga
Celtic v Juventus
Galatasaray v Schalke

Its either something went wrong or the draw was fixed.Impossible that the exact same match-ups happened.

The only way I can see Milan beating Barca is if they do what Chelsea did last season and park the bus, and get lucky and score.

I am not counting out Milan. There is enough time for teams to get on form and drop form. Milan just has too much history to be taken lightly, and this is Italian defense we are talking about. Barca does not have a great record with such defenses.

Let me answer it for you like this:

the cb partnership of mexes + acerbi/yepes/zapata/bonera is not gonna cut against any top team outside of serie a, and with dejong out, theres even less protection for them in front of the back 4. i have faith in our counter attacking, but not as much as the disappointment i have in our defence.

I think people underestimate what it is to be a Milan player. They arent going to just roll over and die, far too much pride in who they are.

How individually mediocre some of the Milan players are become irrelevant when they defend deep and as a collective unit.

Im not exactly happy with this draw. No fake flattery, false humility nor playing down our expectations...im genuinely not very happy with it.

Because you're tired of playing Milan or because you genuinely feel there are aspects of this Milan team that are going to make it difficult?

Tactically I can see why..but I think Arq sums it up pretty well...they had players who gave those tactics substance. Now they don't.

Milan and more importantly their coach will know exactly what is required, they wont be blown away through shock of what they are up against.

Secondly, Milan have some talent still, but I think talent never beats the collective. An organised team with a clear direction always has a chance and I expect Milan to be nothing less than that, added in the fact they are Milan, which cannot be overlooked. You can put 11 average players in the shirt and there is still the possibility they will play the best games of their lives in a night like that.

I wouldn't write Milan off no matter how weak they may seem now, it's still Milan, and Barca will need to work hard to get past them, I know it will be a tough and gritty fixture.

many of u barca fans has been incredibly generous to us, not writing of us, but barca are clear favourites.

this is the worst milan side, but we have some youth talents too, and with many senior champions leaving.... i think we have nothing to loose at this point. i am starting to feel as if life is much easier to manage when we have lost everything. that our players can go out there and show what they can do.

with silva and ibra we had lot of people putting milan on scrutiny.


anyway. i am excited for this match

They nees to.hope.Pato.is.helathy and on form, and El Shaarawy is still in this good form. Play an ultra defensive, counterattacking game and they could pull it out. They did it against us afterall.
