True but it's arguably been a reason why you've struggled in some games.

Except Cesc has scored or assisted in almost every big game since he arrived, which is alot more than Xavi has done in any big game these past two seasons. Rolling Eyes

Cesc is a scapegoat, they should instead focus on why Xavi can't even make a single through pass for his life. Atleast Cesc is creating... Unfair scapegoating.

Cesc unbalances the team offensively and defensively, you have to be a moron to not see that.

Lucky for us, goals and assists are completely irrelevant Laughing

Of course they are, it's not like goals and assists wins you games or anything. Rolling Eyes I'm sure Xavi's 89% pass completion has won you more games than goals and assists.

You clearly have no idea what football is about.

What Xavi has done speaks for itself.

I think Milan will score too, I'm quite pessimistic, this isn't a crippled Arsenal team, we can't score 4 on them.

Don't get me wrong, Xavi is a legend and the best midfielder of all time in my opinion.

He has just been horrible in any big game these 2 past seasons (except for Spain in euro)

But instead Cesc get's the blame, and I don't even think he ruins the balance of the team as much as others claim, I think the team itself can't defend/press anymore, atleast they dont do so anymore. On top of that the quality of your defenders has declined immensely. Your defence went from prime Abidal-Puyol-Pique-Alves to Alba-Masch-Pique(bad form)-Alves. The team itself isn't as superior as it used to be.

And I think you dont know what your talking about.

Your talking about goals and assists, which have no relevance at all. Xavi never made goals or assists on the half way line so why would he now?

We dont press because we dont have all 11 players pressing, Cesc is one of them, one of the biggest ones.

We dont make through passes because Cesc has been in and a runner hasnt been taken out. To make a pass in behind you need a passer and a reciever, we lack recievers because Cesc has taken one out.

This is just common sense, as I said, you have no idea what your talking about if you argue differently.

Also Pique has been very good, you might want to open your eyes once in a while.

Mascherano as a CB looks like a badly placed pass to Niang waiting to happen. And I do hope someone tells Alba and Alves to control their forward runs. You don't want your CB's expose to the elements too much particularly with an over the top ball in open space.

All in all, I'm pretty much expecting a Barcelona victory.

And which "runner" is Cesc really replacing? Pedro and Sanchez? Both whom Cesc has outscored this season? Truth is Cesc is outscoring your forwards and should start over them. And you're ignoring how Cesc actually does make runs towards the goal. Cesc as a goalscorer and a runner > Pedro & Sanchez, without a doubt.

Another reason I think he is being scapegoated. None of your forwards has really shown that they deserve to start over him anyway.

Fabregas scores and assists, however he's kinda detrimental to Barca's overall style of play.

Milan are absolutely choking. Terrible tactics employed by Allegri. What happened to pressing Barcelona and disrupting their rhythm? Did they not learn from the first match?

You can't sit back like that. They are giving Barcelona all the time in the world to pick their passes at ease.
