@djoe Not questioning his work ethic. Questioning his new statistician hobby.

He seems to know a lot about RVP when he was young and played on the wings.

That's the second time something he said in an interview rubbed me the wrong way. The comfort he felt with his starting spot, insisting Wenger wouldn't 'pull the rug' from underneath him and now he's comparing his start to Van Persie's. He should be dismissing any of these comparisons not saying "Well I did better here but he was this age and blah blah blah." Leave that to the fans.

Completely agree, he should focus on improving his finishing before comparing himself to Judas

Piece from @mattspiro on Toulouse's highly-rated right-back Serge Aurier - http://bit.ly/XZcUcM - Linked with #AFC in past year.
Re: Arsenal Lobby
I've seen him, he should be bought at all cost if/when sagna leaves

Re: Arsenal Lobby
I think we should all give Gervinho a fresh start. Get behind him. People stuck with Ramsey and now he is coming back to his old self. Gervinho does have talent which he shows for Ivory Coast. We don't need him in the 1st 11 and as an option on the bench, he can't be worse than chamakh.
So how about we give him another chance ?

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Aurier is 20 years old, wouldn't signing him be a big slap in the face to Jenkinson and Bellerin who are young and promising already at Arsenal?
If Sagna is going (which I don't think we should allow btw), isn't it better to sign an experienced RB and have him till Jenkinson/Bellerin are ready? I rate Jenkinson and especially Bellerin and I think we're set there for the future if both continue to develop like they're doing now.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
As for Gervais, yes he still has time to prove that there's something he can offer to Arsenal. If he can't take the chance now, I think his Arsenal career is done.

I don't think Jenkinson is ready for first team football yet neither is Bellerin which why Sagna must stay. Wouldn't surprise me if he left and we Signed Aurier as his replacement. Wenger loves his French players

on Gervinho…
Gervinho has arrived back [from the Africa Cup of Nations] on Friday but he is not in the squad for Sunderland. We have given him five days off.
Wenger
i dont think we have any more unimportant matches to hand him oppertunities.. he needs to make an impact in the 10-20 min sub appearances unless we have an injury crisis in the wings.. right now we have Walcott and Podolski.. then Ox, Cazorla.. i would even pick Ramsey above him..

Definitely.
He's never really had a good stretch of time to get going. He did at the beginning of the year and he was our top scorer for a while. But if he's still awful for the rest of the year it's gonna be hard to defend him. Hope he comes back as the player he was for Ivory Coast and the player we bought him to be.

If Wenger is smart Jenk will play LB and not Santos.
Rather prefer Sagna at LB and Jenko as RB.But that's just me.We all know AW will play Santos
Verminator should be fit.. so we will go for..
Verm-Kos-Met-Sagna or Sagna-Verm-Kos-Jenko..
but i am sure Wenger wouldnt have signed Monreal if he had the least faith in Santos..
