Let's never forget that at one point in time (right now) this was (is) true:

Re: Arsenal Lobby
^Hah nice! I wonder what's goin on with Eboue nowadays, anyways?
Apparently Nasri said that he left because Kroenke wanted the money:
"Wenger told me that if Cesc (Fabregas) left, I would stay but Kroenke wanted the money," Nasri was translated as saying by the Daily Mirror. "Cesc was already gone, I had only one year left so I decided to leave."
http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1396347/samir-nasri:-stan-kroenke-sold-me-for-%27the-money%27?cc=3436
What do you think? True or not true?

BS...why would Kroenke want the money?
Kroenke probably told Wenger to accept the deal because there was every chance he would have left the next year on free, i think we got a good deal out of it
& Eboue is busy wining the Turkish league (his first trophy) and Cup and playing the in quarter finals of CL

Re: Arsenal Lobby
That sentence could be interpreted to mean that Kroenke wanted the money because it was, well, money and overruled Wenger because of that. I'm sure many will see it that way. However, the key detail is that he was going to leave anyway. Any smart owner would cash in on a player like that, especially when the interested buyer is prepared to pay over-the-odds.
What I find more interesting is that the statement makes it sound like it was either Cesc or Nasri; that Wenger would only try to keep Nasri if Cesc left.
Besides, it's a non-issue now. Arsenal don't miss Nasri and Manchester City aren't exactly enjoying him. We got a great price for him and now have a better player in Cazorla. End of story.

I miss nasri I know some arsenal fans have convinced themselves he is no loss, I think he was a very good player and had the potential to get much better if continued training with Wenger.

Kroenke wanted the money because it was an amazing offer.
If it were me I'd do the exact same thing all over again for what City paid us

he could have become a great player for us.. but destroyed his career by choosing money over development at a young age and just after a successful half season..Raptorgunner wrote:He did score some great goals.Diego Armando Maradona wrote:I miss nasri I know some arsenal fans have convinced themselves he is no loss, I think he was a very good player and had the potential to get much better if continued training with Wenger.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
i think nasri is in no position to comment about leaving arsenal. he left and like all the other players, if they really loved the they could have stayed and helped the cause of the club. he's trying to get some love from the football world

Re: Arsenal Lobby
No regrets about selling Nasri. My only one is that we didn't sign Cazorla that year or get Mata, someone to fill the void, then I really think our squad would have been complete enough to challenge for trophies.

Hey everyone, let's all vote for Diaby to give him some encouragement. It's all over fb and Twitter, people voting for him. It would be a nice gesture whether you like him or not.

There are reports in Brazil that Sao Paulo will send Denilson back at end of his contract because of his recent spat with fans, and he still has one more year left on his contract till 2014
