He was more inconsistent than Adel Taarabt.....

Because he came up with a few highlight moment doesn't mean he was good.

Majority of the time he was like how he has been for the rest of his career.

I don't know the reason Lazio spent so much money on him but sure as hell was because he was great for Birmingham because he really wasn't...

Maybe took a risk on his ability because it's clear he has it but it sure as hell aint because he was great for Birmingham because by that same logic Taarabt is great for QPR.

Its not about those few 'highlight moments' i actually was watching a lot of Premier League football back then and Zarate was like Birmingham's go to man that season.

He wouldnt have been able to do much with that Birmingham team anyways and subsequently he won Lazio a Coppa Italia with a string of some great performances which is why he went for so much in the end.

He became arrogant and selfish after that season which resulted in a dip in his performances and its been a downward spiral from then on.But it wont be wrong to say at one point he was actually playing like he could've turned into a future World Class player.

Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has dismissed claims that he is set for a January transfer to Italian giants Inter.

The midfielder is known to be on the radar of the Nerazzurri and it was thought that they would be making a bid for him after Christmas.

However, the 24-year-old has insisted that he doesn’t expect to be heading to the peninsula any time soon.

“There has been no offer up to this point in time,” he stated.

“Whether we win the Club World Cup or not, I want to stay with Corinthians in 2013. As it stands, I can say that I am staying.”

Sakho wants to leave PSG this winter or he will create trouble. He was OK with staying quiet in the summer when his transfer request was refused. That's not the case now... PSG have very little choice in the matter.

I think Carlo is making a massive mistake picking Alex over this kid. I expect City, Barca and Arsenal to make a push.

Only problem is that he's CL-tied to PSG.

A CB French a prodigy who hasn't lived up to earlier promise yet could be available for cut price deal

The biggest hiccup is the wage scale. I'm sure many many players would love to play for Arsenal but the money is just better somewhere else.

We afforded players like vidal, vuci, pirlo, barzagli, Asamoah etc.. We don't need the Benzema kind of player who are coming from Big clubs and probably would consider themselves superior quality.
We have quagliarella, Vucinic, giovinco who proved to be strong enough to win a group with two great teams in UCL and have 1st place in Italy..
Sorry but saying that Juve can't "afford" players like Benzema is a loser mentality..
