Arsenal are ready to make a €9m offer for 20-year-old Palermo midfielder Afriyie Acquah, who is on loan to Parma.

The Ghanaian youngster was handed to Parma this summer on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, but they do not seem intent on taking that up.

Acquah could be heading to the Premier League during the transfer window, as the Daily Express claims Arsenal are interested in the 20-year-old.

The Gunners are prepared to pay €9m for the rugged midfielder, who has been in Italy since 2010.
