FC Twente chairman Joop Munsterman claims midfielder Leroy Fer's proposed switch to Everton is in the balance.

The Toffees announced on Monday they had agreed an £8.6m fee with Twente and the 23-year-old travelled to Merseyside to finalise the deal.

But medical staff at Goodison Park apparently raised concerns regarding the player, and Everton have gone back to Twente in an attempt to renegotiate the deal.

Instead of the full fee up front the Premier League side wanted to pay a smaller amount with the remainder dependent on appearances and other factors.

But Munsterman is adamant Twente will not accept the proposed changes.

"Yesterday Everton claimed on their own website they reached an agreement with FC Twente about a transfer of Leroy Fer," said Munsterman.

"Today they started up the negotiations once again. During the day they came with all sort of additional conditions about the payment terms and also the transfer fee.

"We won't deal with that. Then there won't be a transfer."

We'd need a separate thread just for Sepi... and several for MT.

Seeking a right wingback to replace Mattia Cassani, who is about to join Genoa, Fiorentina, according to Sky Sport, are thinking about AS Roma 32 year old Rodrigo Taddei.

--------------------

Sky Sports understands West Ham are eyeing a move for Shakhtar Donetsk left-back Razvan Rat.

Rat is out of contract in the summer and with the 31-year-old unlikely to agree a new deal at Shakhtar, the Ukrainian club are keen to secure a fee in January.

The Hammers have already brought in Emmanuel Pogatetz on loan until the end of the season and the Austrian is capable of operating at left-back.

But Sam Allardyce could still be forced into a cut-price offer with several other Premier League clubs tracking the player this week.

The Romania international has vast experience having won league titles in his homeland as well as with Shakhtar and was part of the team that won the UEFA Cup in 2009.

There's a rumour going about that TomJuve is going to sell Giovinco for £5.50 and a Kebab. If I was reading this I would take me up on the offer and give him to your respective club.

The only downside is he'll be locked in the boot of my car for a few days and will need 1 month worth of recovery.

Schelotto confirms Inter move:

As Philippe Coutinho joins Liverpool, Atalanta’s Ezequiel Schelotto confirms a deal is done with Inter. “I’m very happy.”

The Nerazzurri had tried to reinvest the money from Coutinho to snap up Paulinho, but the midfielder announced he has turned down the transfer so he can play the Copa Libertadores with Corinthians.

Instead, it seems as if Inter have found their reinforcement with Atalanta and Italy winger Schelotto.

“I don’t want to get ahead of myself because there’s still nothing official, but I can say I am very happy for these negotiations that really do seem to have reached a conclusion,” he told Sportitalia.

Born in Argentine in April 1986, he is a right wing-back who started his career at Nacional.

Sampdoria also announced that 24-year-old midfielder Tissone has gone to Spanish club Real Mallorca, as he only has six months left on his contract.

Shanghai Shenhua are ready to challenge Didier Drogba's move to Galatasaray, claiming he remains under contract with them.

On Monday, Galatasaray announced a deal that would see the 34-year-old Drogba join up with them immediately after the African Nations Cup - currently ongoing in South Africa.

But Drogba's Chinese Super League club, who he joined from Chelsea last summer, issued a statement on their website describing themselves as "deeply shocked" by the announcement, and insisting Drogba remains under contract in China.

"We understand that Drogba is eager to participate in the European Champions League," the statement added.

"Shanghai Shenhua Football Club and Drogba on July 1, 2012 officially signed a formal contract for a period of two-and-a-half years. The club has acted in accordance with this contract, and has effectively fulfilled the responsibilities and obligations of the club.

"Currently, Drogba is still a player of Shanghai Shenhua Football Club, the contract between the two parties is still within the period of validity.

"Shanghai Shenhua is prepared to collate all the evidence and information and submit it to FIFA in order to protect its interests."

On Monday, Galatasaray announced that Drogba had agreed an 18-month deal to move to Turkey, where he would join up with Wesley Sneijder as part of an ambitious new-look side.

Drogba, speaking through his representatives Sports PR Company on Twitter, said at the time: "The opportunity to play for this great club was an offer that I could not turn down.

"I am looking forward to playing in the Champions League again, against the best clubs in Europe."

Despite his protests to the contrary, reports persisted that Drogba's move to China had not worked out, largely due to boardroom wrangling, prompting him to seek a return to Europe.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola is reporting that Sporting Lisbon winger Bruno Pereirinha is set to join Lazio.

The player is currently on his way to Stadio Olimpico, where he will sign a three-and-a-half-year contract subject to passing a medical.

Pereirinha, 24, arrives as a free agent, having just terminated his contract at Stadio Jose Alvalade.

The highly rated winger had six months left on his deal with the Lions, but club officials agreed to release him from his contract.

Due to the contract dispute with the Portuguese giants, Pereirinha has failed to make a single first team appearance for the club this season, but Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic was, nonetheless, prepared to take a gamble with the talented midfielder.

Pereirinha, who spent most of his career at Sporting Lisbon, produced some scintillating showings during team’s Europa League campaign last term, and that proved enough to persuade the Biancocelesti to add him to their ranks.

Dynamo Kiev have secured the services of Lazio forward Mauro Zarate, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.

After the two clubs agreed on a €10 million transfer fee, the deal is set to be completed by the end of the day.

Zarate, 25, had earlier reached an agreement over the personal terms after spending a couple of days in Kiev.

The player, who was considered one of the talented forwards in world football not so long ago, has found it hard to get regular playing time at Stadio Olimpico over the last two seasons.

Despite impressing at the start of his career at Lazio, the Argentine allowed his temperament to get the best of him and was constantly overlooked by both Edy Reja and Vladimir Petkovic.

As a result, Zarate made just one Serie A appearance during the last two campaigns, although he did spend the second part of the 2011/2012 season on loan at Inter.

QPR are moving to snap up Etienne Capoue from Toulouse, as they battle to bring in new faces before the transfer window slams shut.

According to RTL, the France international has travelled to London to negotiate a move to Loftus Road, with QPR having lodged a bid of €10M with Toulouse.

Capoue’s advisers have indicated that the midfielder wants to leave Toulouse and QPR are keen to pick up the France star.

There are other sides that have been tracking Capoue though and there could yet be more offers for the 24-year-old.

Capoue has been linked with Bayern Munich, although it appears unlikely the German giants will bring in a player without having first discussed it with incoming coach Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, Everton are admirers of Capoue, with their interest having been noted in France.

Should the Toffees fail to complete their proposed move for FC Twente midfielder Leroy Fer, they could well switch their attention to Capoue.
