Manchester United make enquiry to sign Sterling

Sir Alex Ferguson has joined the marquee clubs keen to take advantage of the youngster's contract stand-off with Liverpool and sees him as a possible replacement for Nani

Sterling, who turns 18 on Saturday, has stalled on signing his first major contract after breaking into the Liverpool team this season.

Ferguson is also tracking Blackpool’s £5million-rated Tom Ince, the former Liverpool winger who is also being targeted for an Anfield return.

Debuchy did fine against Spain NT and Italy NT. He was injured until 10 days before the Spain game. Had played 2 games before that.

Not a WC player... but does all you want from a fullback. He attacks well, defends ok and runs forever.

He doesn't need to be. He'd be a temporary alternative that provides somethings we don't have and that Di Maria in particular needs.

Azpi is a FAR BETTER defender than him, which is what we needed more. He's also a decent attacker.

Not only that but Debuchy is good enough to take away pressure from Di Maria, so he can focus on his forward duties not just cover his flank and do Arbeloas work.

Just like he trolls every Newcastle player known to man....

Debuchy is miles better than Arbeloa.

I have to LOL @ Barrett thinking Chelsea chose Azpi over him...Debuchy made his choice in the summer he wanted us.... he said so himself he didn't want to join just anyone but he wanted to join us but Lille's Owner destroyed that.
