Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
Ibra is the best striker in the world right now bar none. Falcao and Cavani are a distant second. Those goals

No striker brings as much to the table as he does, it's not just his goals but his overall game and the crap loads of chances he creates.
Closing in on 250 career goals and 100 assists, let the haters hate he's called Ibracadabra for a reason
He has 9 goals in 7 games btw plus 1 assist.
I was watching him at Milan,Inter,Juve week by week and i was far more impressed than any other actual player... he is so impredictable, his ball control and dribbling is faboulous, and he has best shots in the game...
The argument he scores in france, so he should not be appreciated that much is shi.t... He scored in Italy for so many years, in spain, at Sweden NT, and now in france... he never fails to impress me..
He is the most gifted player in the last decade technically.. OO, and don't bring messi and ronaldo in discussion...Let's see what they'll do at 31 years, when they won't have the speed they count on now..
I don't think any player in the history scored so many spectecular goals..
and finally... He's impossible to mark

He is a just a few goals shy(3 if i am correct) of becoming CL all time Top 10 goalscorers.
Ibra has no excuses this season though. He has one of the most stacked teams in Europe, probably top 5 in the World in terms of individual quality throughout the squad and the team is built around him.
Wut ? PSG arent even a team
EDIT: Only Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern & Man City have more individual quality than that PSG squad.

He has only played a few games , as he wasn't fit. Even though the defense is much better with him he doens't have a big impact on the team yet. He will as tough draw in L1 in CL are coming.

Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
I dont rate Ibra that much. He is too slow and I think he will struggle in the EPL for example (he'll be like berbatov- naturally talented but just too lazy and slow).
Falcao, Benzema, RVP, Aguero and even Suarez are ahead of him.
He is just outspoken, does a few tricks now and then, but in the long run I'd take any of these guys ahead of him.
He is the star of the team at PSG atm, but if they wanna win the CL, they'll need better players.
Surely he'll win them the Ligue (thats not very hard imo, even Hazard won his team the French league few seasons ago).

Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
Ibra is the best.
However part of me wants to say he gave that up by moving to France....that's just not where players who want to be the best go. Same goes for Silva.
The truth is they might actually be the best at their respective positions but right now I am only going to judge them on their CL exploits because what they do in France can only be judged relatively.
One can talk about complex defensive schemes and all that but there is a huge drop off in quality that no amount of tactical precision will never make up for. That perhaps is a tad harsh...because there are guys I respect there ( Galtier comes to mind and perhaps Girad) but that's just the reality.

Yeah because Gervinho, Sow, Cabaye, Rami, Debuchy, Chedjou and Mavuba didn't exist

Also just outspoken ? yeah because those 154 goals and 73 assists in his last 256 games mean absolutely nothing....

I'm not saying he is crap, there are just better forwards than him atm and his stats aren't that impressive.
Falcao (26 yr old) = 252 app, 166 goals, ? assists
Benzema (25) = 292 app 136 goals, 50 assists
Suarez (25) = 289 app, 166 goals, 59 assists

Re: Official Zlatan Ibrahimovic Thread
Are you really comparing what those guys did in Holland and even Portugal and France to what Ibra did in Serie A ?
He was an integral part of 6 major league title winning teams in the last 8 years.

Lol, did he he give himself that title? Was that from FIFPro World XI or Balon dor nominations? Is it from all the major titles he has won? Please enlighten me.
Rooney, Ozil, RVP, Yaya, Pirlo >>> Ibrahimovic
He is on the same level as the likes of Robben, Tevez, Ribbery, and co.
You cant honesty tell me that only messi, cr7, and xaviesta are better than Ibra.
Dont you think the likes of Chelsea, Man U, City would have gone mad over him by now, seeing as he is the best player in the world, apart from these 4? Surely that'll would strengthen their quest to match the might of Barca and Madrid.

Ibra is a good individual but he slows teams down. its why they kicked him out of Barca. also his work rate is very bad.
I don't rate him very high.
