Siena President Massimo Mezzaroma has claimed that Roma have made the most movement so far for Mattia Destro.

The young striker impressed last term with Siena and, now co-owned by the Tuscans with Genoa, is attracting a lot of transfer talk this summer.

Inter, Juventus and Milan have all been linked, but Mezzaroma has revealed that only two clubs have asked about him so far and only one of those has made an offer.

“Roma wants the striker, but Preziosi is also interested,” confirmed the President to Radio Mana Mana Sport.

“If Mattia were to stay with Siena, with whom he is contracted with, it would not be a bad thing indeed!

“The offer to the club and the player will be decisive, for now the Giallorossi are the only ones to have approached us with a request and offer, whilst I know that Genoa have also made some contact.”

Mezzaroma offered an explanation as to why his club went back on a reported original agreement to send the player back to Genoa.

“We had found an agreement before arriving at the envelopes with Genoa, but then there was a power outage that forced us to exercise our right of redemption.

We were a little more interested we put in 4 official offers we definitely want him but our value and Twente's is a little different.

We offered 14-15m and Twente want 18m so if anyone wants him then they will have to offer the 18m that Twente want or they agree to a smaller fee.

Our 14-15m euro bid is all cash upfront and on the table but currently Twente are not interested in anything below 18m.

Adriano's a versatile player who can cover both RB/LB. I don't really think he's good enough to start though. How about Criscito, Willems or Kolarov?

What ?Adriano is an excellent player..Will fit in well in a 3-5-2..Excellent attacking wise and very good tactically..

Though i think PDC is just a bit better than him defensively.

PDC in a 4-3-3..Adriano/PDC in a 3-5-2..

Kolarov is an expensive option,Willems is young and inexperienced and dont think we're after Criscito..I dont think Zenit will sell him.
