Agreed with all of these points aside from the age - related to vision, personally I think that's the alone attribute Hazard will never surprass Mata in, pretty everything else I believe he'll overtake him in years to come if he hasn't already .

Actually Hazard is not really much faster or a better dribler than Mata. Both of them are quite fast and struggle to dribble in static situations.

Hazard can improve but he might as well stay the same at 22.

Mata is better at static situations imo and Hazard is easily faster than Mata.

22 yo Hazard is better than 22 yo Mata

Mata is 25 so 3 years older . I think right now Mata is more consistent than Hazard so let's say '' better '' but if Hazard would likely become a better player

Mata is not a finish product either there is many things he can improve on too; stamina, consistency, finishing, defensive work rate, etc.

As good as Mata is right now he can definitely improve.

Sure Mata is 2/3 years older, but Hazard has played almost the same amount of senior football. The age difference is only important when there is a also a big difference in experience, but in this case there isn't.

But here is hoping Hazard does surpass Mata, can only be good for Chelsea. But Mata and Hazard are not totally like the same player either, Mata can be that playmaking no.10 for the team when needed and dictate plays. I haven't seen that from Hazard.

I personally think Oscar has the biggest potential out of the three. But Mata seems to be the hybrid between Hazard and Oscar.

tbh, I think we will, eventually, We have a lot of Talent within our ranks, Piazon, KDB, Oscar and the likes who could more or less replace him. Unless Eden falls in love with Chelsea, I can see him moving should we get a 40m+ pound offer.
