Eden Hazard's father confirms Tottenham interest

Eden Hazard's father has suggested that a move to Tottenham could interest the Lille playmaker.
Thierry Hazard indicated that his son would be open to a move White Hart Lane, confirming Spurs' interest in the Belgian midfielder and admitting that first team opportunities might be easier to come by at a club "just below the biggest".
21-year-old Hazard recently spoke favourably of Spurs' London rivals Arsenal, pointing out that the presence of French manager Arsene Wenger, several French players and Belgium international team-mate Thomas Vermaelen would help him settle in at the Emirates Stadium.
"For now I can only say what Eden said on Monday on TV: Yes, there is interest from Spurs, and no, there's no offer," Thierry told Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.
"The priority for Eden is one thing: games. Opportunities. It might be better to join a club just below the biggest."
Hazard's father also revealed that his son was now set on a move to the Premier League for that very reason.
"He's made the choice to go to England," he said. "We also considered the Primera Division, but there are only two teams in Spain if you want to win silverware: Real and Barcelona.
"We have to be honest, even though Eden has plenty of talent, the competition for places is huge there."

Re: Eden Hazard's father confirms Tottenham interest
indeed, i can understand why he wants to go to them
Chelsea are horrible, Arsenal arent much better and he would be lost in the city of Manchester not to mention Sir Alex will stay with the players he has got now only to regret it when Hazard does good

Eden Hazard Tottenham Bound Or Is He...
As we all know by now Hazard has had links with many clubs but the main one thats been in the news is Tottenham.
But now Tottenham have got higher copetition, ever heard of Man City!
Man City are expected to offer LOSC Lille a high offer for Hazard which will surely beat Tottenham.
What team would you pick if you were Hazard, Tottenham or Man City?

he will not go to Tottenham, they are too small for him.
man city is my pick, because Mancini personally came to scout him. If not them then Chelsea

Re: Eden Hazard's father confirms Tottenham interest
What I've gathered is that he really wanted Madrid, but Madrid are not really that interested right now and can't promise a starting spot.
He is looking to use the BPL as a stepping stone to showcase his talents.
IMO, he goes Chelsea.

And show me how all 3 fit into the starting 11?
Not to mention, Hazard isnt a winger anyway.

Re: Eden Hazard's father confirms Tottenham interest
I can see him selling AJ....but its not like AJ is playing tons of minutes now...
I can see some rotation between Hazard, Nasri and Silva (who looks worn out to me) but why would Hazard want that...

Actually, this season he has been playing more central due to Lilles lack of width and he has been very impressive there.
