Guys correct me if i'm wrong:

if villareal's B team had won the spanish 2nd division (segunda) last season , they would have been promoted to laliga . All villareal first team had to do was just transfer all their players and staff to the villareal b and they would still be in Spain's top flight!!!! scratch

Correct. This happened to either Atlético or Valencia many years ago. Can't remember which one though.

LOL thats crazy!!! Struggling laliga teams with B sides should just demote their first teamers to the B sides(and make them win segunda) if they think they have no chence of survival! I'm sure borja valero, nilmar and co would have made villareal B super strong

I'm pretty sure the B team is always supposed to be a division lower than the A team, regardless of whether it gets promoted or not.

It annoys me to no end that Mussachio is staying at Villareal in spite of every other piece of the backline leaving.

Luis Alberto is close to joining the B-team on loan w/ an option to buy.

Whats up with Barca buying so many B players?, Did we lose that many B players last season?

Also aren't there more promising youngsters from the other youth categories?

- There were holes to fill on the team.

- The B-team has lost five players due to promotion over the past twelve months, for the moment Tello is still one.

- Of course but promising is really the only label they have right now. Juvenil A players start to get B-team minutes towards the latter part of the season. Usually if they're bound for a promotion. (ex: Dongou, Deulofeu the year before)

But I do believe that the squad needs to be trimmed players like Kiko, Rodri, Gustavo Ledes, Lobato don't offer much on the pitch in my opinion and should move on. For the longest time I though there was a 25 player limit for the B-team, but I guess I was wrong.

Has got to be one of the strangest games I've watched scratch

Good game though. Defence needs some work. Kinda expected , especially with the wholesale changes made from last season (we should send Fontas back to Barca B) .

However Barca B isn't about getting the 3 points, the way they get the three points is whats important. Rafinha is very good for his age, Espinosa as good too. Dongou is goo too. GD7 needs to keep it up. Grimaldo also very good from his age. Most of these guys are like just 18 we have to remember.

Yeah the defense is pretty unstable at the moment. 10 men or not it's not acceptable to concede that many in a game like this.

That corner defending pale

Perhaps the wrong section to ask this but which one do you prefer and why?

GD7 ofcourse. He has been bred at La Masia and knows our philosophy. He has loads of potential, good with both feet, can be very unpredicable. If he improves in his overall footballing brain, he can be our own more "intelligent" version of CR7. And a bit of humility can do him some good to. (Not that his attitude is like that of cr7 of course)

Yes, they are. They lost their first game against Villarreal with 2-1. The first mini-clásico is already on August 26, the other match against them will take place on January 27.

(info from a Dutch site but should be solid)
