Starting to look like we made a (very) short-sighted mistake in letting Carroll go before lining up the replacement (though there is still time). Fulham appear to have set out to screw us on the Dempsey deal after they reported us, rejecting several offers worth more than the 7-8m they're asking of Tottenham and others.

Hindsight is 20/20.
