First off, bar the site, it seemed like everyone thought Bayern would win anyways Mole

Bayern had higher odds than Madrid... Yeah, it's true... So Bayern were the favourites of this game.

There ain't a 2nd best team, because there's no stand out amongst a lot of teams of similar quality. On paper you could make that assumption, but by that logic City could be there, and they are no where close to that, IMO.

It's Barca, then the rest.

No> Barca's case is different.

They have many things to show for it, unlike Madrid who haven't won anything in a while, just managed a cpl semi last year, even city has done a much better job than Madrid.

Dont deliberately ignored to acknowledge what Barca has won in the past few years

they have a good coach who is helping them out big time, but they are simply not the 3rd best team in the world.

If they played Milan in Quarter final, they would have been eliminated long ago

Anyway i already explained why this thread was made and besides its something i have thought about for a while......
