I agree with u. Tello's speed is a headache for most opposition and I can see him starting a lot of games.

I'd rather have Pedro start because...Pedro is a very good player, and deserves to start. Not only does he work very hard, but he's a very influential player for us and IMO can make the difference in a lot of games. He's earned his starting spot for sure.

So Messi and Pedro.....and who else? I'm not crazy about Sanchez at all and would be all for selling him. Villa after all this time still seems out of place with our team and is a slow wing option for us. I would like him to be a striker but he isn't moving Messi out of that spot. Tello seems to be the best fit for us imo as of now

The ball is irrelevant? Ronaldo running chasing after the ball while Tello has to run with the ball, that's a bad comparison also the video you showed is Tello trying to get past a defender... whilst Ronaldo is free running, rather bad argument.
I've watched Tello since his youth his top speed is faster than Ronaldos although Ronaldo may control it better but that's a different story.

That video is such bs.. at around second :10 you can see that gerard has had a full minute to start sprinting and is at a 10-15meter advantage. Ronaldo actually is burning him until pique slide tackles him. Almost EVERYONE uses that as their video.. pique also has a slight arm on ronaldo pushing him back which is not a foul but good defending.

Tello is trying to get past one player, so yes it is irrelevant.

Also, I don't see you posting a video of tello's speed where he is faster then ronaldo in a video with or without the ball.

I'm too lazy to find youtube videos of Tello's barca b games or youth videos, I say I've followed him from youth because I have a better word then you who only watches the youtube videos or one or two Barca games.
I also linked the Pique video because I really don't take youtube videos into consideration when you use it so horribly, have you ever sprinted with a ball? you clearly move faster without one even if it's by a little.
I know your younger then I and probably don't have much experience with comparing for real debates, but when you do compare, you have to use the same variables I.E running without ball and running with it, which is a difference.

I'm the fastest by far on our select team (not rec) and I know how running with the ball is different (ill save my "football career" for later), but I meant tello would lightly tap it and sharply cut about 5-10 meters.

Doesn't matter to be honest, think about it like this, you have to take certain steps to kick the ball, kick it 7 meters infront and Tello has to calculate his footing so he can get the next tap or pass in correctly. Although it seems simple that is why Pique out ran Ronaldo, because CR7 had the ball and had to focus on running but not lose the ball.

Tello is quicker than ROnaldo, Cole was quicker, Clichy was quicker, Ballesteros outpaced him... Ronaldo isn't as quick as ppl on here think, in fact when both him and rooney ran too balls at united rooney regularly beat him.

Tbh Juve would do such a deal in jiffy but only if Barca accept it.

And besides we give our word on such deals(we make it an obligation to purchase each and every time) if you have noticed some of our transfers in the past few years regardless of how the player is faring at the team.

That was something I noticed along with a lot of other people about Tello's finishing. Very similar to Henry's. Henry was the king of opening up his body and slotting it into the far post side netting with the inside of his right foot, and that's something I see Tello do constantly (or try). It doesn't always work, which is why I like that he did the motion but went near post, which completely fooled the keeper.

The boy deserves anything that comes his way. He's been impressive this season and he is no longer the surprise package that no one knew about last season. People know Tello this season and he's proven that he can thrive despite popular opinion that he is a 'one trick pony'. He's playing well in the minutes given to him...

So I say give more minutes to him!

I think once the league is won, he should be a guaranteed started for the remainder of the league games.

so anyone watch porto? how is he doing there?

Doesnt start all the time (or even often really) and so, despite me being a fairly regular viewer I havent seen him much.

He did score a few goals in his first few games but he had an injury at some point and dont think I have seen him score (or even play well) since then.

Funny enough, I dont think he suits the way Porto are playing. Sometimes they are struggling to keep possession in high areas and as such the wingers are isolated from the game unless they have the ability to drop deep, pick up the ball and turn, like Brahimi does or Oliver does when used wide.

Has scored some CL goals I havent seen.

Some people have raised concerns over Porto's style. It the typical "tiki taka is dead doe" rubbish but yeah.
